Thank you Xavier.. had it for 35 years though last rebuild was completed in 2015.. if interested, there are a few other vids of the Coupe as well as convertible and our 35 Ford, 83 years of its 87 year life, in the family
Hi there.. Appreciate the query.. I run 225/55's on the front and 245/50's on the rear.. the tyre height/rolling circumference is pretty much a match for the two different pairings.. I did at one stage run taller rears but didn't like the 'push' it gave the car
@@coupster5464 oh man, I’d better learn more. Will watch some more of your videos. I have dreams along these lines for my XJ-S but that stuff is so expensive.
Yes @@lebojay takes a while to sort out what direction to go etc LOL I've had the XJC for 37 years, just the last 10 like this.. there are other options including some quite unique twin 4bbl carb setups and the manifolds sell for 600 to 800 the pair.. I've an XJS too, a 'stock' convertible, aren't they a great touring car.. I did 400K just last Sunday in mine.. hope you are getting to enjoy yours.
Hi.. Why.. its a homage to the Broadspeed XJC's and is a Genuine Leyland part, complete with part number., sourced from two sets damaged in racing.. cast in rubber it is not a fiberglass or plastic repop.. Leyland Homologated these as a drag reduction device (minus 4.7% wind tunnel tested) for the V12 XJS racing program and to meet the homologation requirements, advertised the set of 3 pieces as part no. STN 0092 and included them in a parts brochure 'akm 3366' in Dec 1976, for sale through a limited number of dealers
Purring like a kitten GREAT CAR Congratulations mate
Beautiful Xjc V12 ....and very very rare with that manual gearbox, thanks for showing
Thank you Birol.. there's a couple other cars, several vids, on my channel too.. our XJS and a 1935 Ford
WOAH! Excellent car. Beautiful engine bay! That's the tidiest Jag V12 setup that I've ever seen! V12's from the factory, look messy as hell.
Thanks Charles.. yes once you get rid of all the 'extra's', the narrowness of the 60 degree V is on display
Absolutely gorgeous 😍😍😍

@@coupster5464 that’s really helpful I think I’ll run the same thanks and love the car
Very interesting.
Let's hear it in ANGER!!!
This one Chris is in the channel.. when an overly rich fuel map, mid range, was being sorted th-cam.com/video/-XN1Fwiy6ag/w-d-xo.html
Your carbs sure look better than my Lucas fuel injection!
Hi there.. thanks though.. not carbs.. this setup is 6 dual throat EFI throttle bodies by Jenvey, on a Weber manifold, managed by a MOTEC ecu..

If you don't know the cars much, you won't get it.
