Great idea for the spinning caddy! You could even use it on an outside table with the cutlery and napkins in... so many uses! Love the dinky charcuterie boards too!

Love them both... For the caddy, because the compartments are large yiu coukd upcyle some small jars to put inside to hold the paint brushes and smaller items up.❤

Lindi, great job! 🙌🏽 The mini charcuterie boards turned out beautiful and the way you displayed the food on each one with the herbs gave it a festive touch. I can see this as part of a holiday tablescape. You could use it to serve mini pastries, brownies or a personal cookie sampler. The caddy was a great option over the wall caddy. You could use it to hold painting, school or craft supplies, or for candy bars on family movie night. Share more thrift flips, please👍🏽🙌🏽

These are super cute individual boards! Just an idea I saw somewhere - cut a little curve on the side to fit the wine glass “leg” to hold the glass

Linda if you use pressure on your sander your motor will wear out sooner-don’t ask how I know. Just a light hold on the sander is best.

I love this you have such a mind for amazing high end diys. Now I want a scroll saw lol. Serious question... does the wax over stain make it food safe?? I'm assuming yes, 1st time I've ever seen it done, so game changer for me.
The wax is food safe! It provides a great layer of protection on your piece ❤️
Cool projects - though I didn’t think if you put stain on wood even if you topped it with a food safe sealer that it would be food safe? I would think you would need to use a Milk paint which is food grade or watered down milk paint and then sealed with a food grade sealer - I really thought they both needed to be food grade.
I thought that too! But I actually did a bunch of research on it! It’s definitely safe to eat off of it 🖤
@@LindiandRuss hmmm I too have did a toneof research and make a sell charcuterie boards and have never found where it says it’s safe to use stain. If you have sources would love to see them (link them?) as would give me more options.
@@deborahthatsmestandards are different if you’re actually making and selling them commercially- cause there are no stains specifically for food grade safety. This is just for our family and home. We’ve used milk paint in the past too - works great for making and selling projects!

yep a planer would have work - but I would still sand it after that as well :)
