Thanks for sharing love everything especially the peacock lamp you never fails to amazed us with your creativity thank you once again for sharing have a wonderful blessed Monday.
Hey Shari - it’s freezing here in Tacoma, WA too! I am most impressed with the organization of your stash to be honest! I need organization strategies for mine! I loved the William Morris tray the best. That is your style and fits best in your home! ❤
All your projects were so lovely. Probably the most simple one -- the wicker tray with the William Morris napkin collage, really spoke to me, because I love William Morris designs, and also the idea of containing things to unify them. The topiary was amazing and beautiful! I just loved the whole video and watching you create.
All so creative Sherry, but to take a pile of totally unrelated items and turn them into such a fun and colorful topiary was my favorite! Stay safe and warm!
You are one of the most creative and original artists that I've ever seen! You can turn literal trash or junk into stunning, amazing, beautiful home decor! I'd love to tour your home! I'll bet there are so many eclectic decorations throughout ❤❤❤
@CanterburyCottage I have a floral sofa with roses in those very colors: Ivory, burgundy and pink roses on a very dark background. Yes, I love my granny chic!
Mirror shape reminds me of Fonzies mirror in Happy Days. Watching you while my husband watches Buffalo fans stand in the stadium because their seats are full of snow!
I had to Google Fonzie’s mirror-that was a great mirror! Yes, my husband is home early and watching the football game, too. I’m pretty sure I could not live in Buffalo!
Thank you! You have been watching me awhile! I did not save those plastic wheels, so don’t be looking for them. However, I did save the fabric from the tray and was already thinking about how I could use it! 😜
Everything is beautiful, but I love the Peacock table. I love Peacocks. When I was little, many moons ago LOL. My grandpo would pick up all the Peacock feathers from the Denver Zoo. He even had one on his cowboy hat. 🤭
Thank you, Tonia! What a fun job-to collect up beautiful feathers. Growing up, my mom had a groovy midcentury vase full of peacock feathers in our home. I remember playing with them; they are actually very strong!
My favorite was the table you made with the peacock lamp. I recently saw a very large brass lamp at my local thrift store. My first thought was I could make a small table with that. Alas I did not buy it, great minds think alike🤔
They are all gorgeous! The topiary is inspired and has so many options for decorating! Love them all, as usual, a fab bunch of creative ingenious beautification Sherri! ❤
Bitter winter in AR, too. I'm assembling shelves today that arrived exactly 2 months after the date we buried both my folks. I consider this my last gift from them and am happy to look out the window at the beautiful scene while I work inside.
You are so lucky that your parents lived into their 90’s. My parents both died in their early 70’s, and I miss them everyday. My oldest son is getting married this year and how I wish they could be here for it!
@CanterburyCottage My dad officiated at the weddings of 3 of my kids. (One eloped). I do realize how lucky I am even though I only saw them once a year.
UGH!! I can't decide!! Each project was so great!! I loved how the metal cloche came out but then, the mirror! Yet, the peacock table was the crowning glory of today's video!! SO satisfying to watch you transform "junk" into treasure! :)
@@CanterburyCottage I sell all kinds of vintage on eBay so I have quite a stash too! But I don't upcycle anything although your videos make my fingers itch to do it! :D
I am just like everyone else.....I adore that peacock table! But.....and this is a big BUT.....I feel you when you do anything with birds!!! I have no idea why they speak to me so much, but I love the way you use them in so many of your designs....I am on the lookout for realistic birds now!!!
Thank you so much, Sharon! A kind viewer actually sent me several nice birds which was much appreciated because they are getting harder to find. Hobby Lobby does have some that are much better than the ones at Dollar Tree.
Oh, Lynette, thank you so much! 😊 It is very hard to select music that suits everyone, and it is extra difficult to find free to use music. It costs to use the copyrighted music that I would like to play.
Loved the wicker , William Morris tray , the peacock table (oh my) and the topiary was very interesting. Thank you for using things around the house. Sherry, you could start your own thrift store.
Thank you, GG! I didn’t even show the majority of it! 😜 I accumulated so much stuff when I was running my booth, and I really need to get rid of half of it!
I love the peacock table also! I just love watching your creativity when going through your ‘stash’! I love every one of your projects and look forward to Tuesday for a new video, thank you for all the time and effort you put into making and filming them.
Loved each and every project. I'm thinking some kind of similar topiary could make for an interesting door stop if the lower items used were weighted with cement or pebbles ... hmmm ... you've got me inspired again! The peacock table is wonderful. A great way to upcycle an unusual lamp base 😃🥰
Thank you, Yzola! I love your idea. I could have easily put sand or pebbles in the bottom salad bowls that I glued together. That would make it better for outdoor decor, too!
Good afternoon, Sherry! Brrr it is ridiculously cold, lol! 🥶 Definitely will be shopping/decluttering my basement during this cold snap. Looking forward to see what magical creations you come up with! Stay warm ❤ Bobbie.xoxo
Good afternoon, Bobbie! Yes, sooooo cold! My furnace can’t keep up. I haven’t left the house in a few days now. Luckily, I already have some thrift finds to use next week, too! 😜
You cracked me up throughout this video! HAHAHA! From the 'not needing to go to the thrift store for 3 years' to pitching that rooster I was laughing out loud! SO funny! BUT ALSO: Everything that you created was so very clever, beautiful, and interesting--as always!! Thanks Sherry!!
I liked the wagon, the topiary (much more than the $300 one), and the peacock table. I think I liked the topiary the best! All of them were very clever.
I truly love them all! If I had to choose only one it would be the peacock table. It is amazing! I like the simplicity of the twine holder too and the shadow box frame was so unique! And the topiary is something I long to try with all the random pieces I have collected! Another fabulous video chocked full of creativity. ❤️
Thanks so much, Chick! There is something very satisfying about gluing a bunch of old stuff together! If you make a topiary, I’d love to see it! 😊 (The topiary was actually more time consuming than the peacock table because I’m not a neat painter.)
I like the mirror and wicker tray as well as the table. I have only gone outside to feed the birds, and squirrels 😂. Michigan should warm up next week. Not looking forward to going out tomorrow. Glad you are staying warm and shopping your stash. I have a stash as well, but I think I need to find some beautiful napkins soon.😊 TFS. Praying you and your viewers stay warm. ❄️
Oh, Serena! Michigan must be worse than Illinois! It was -14 F (actual temperature) here yesterday and the wind is terrible. My furnace can’t keep up-my house temp never rose above 65 degrees! If you have a Home Goods or T.J. Maxx, always check the napkins when you shop.
You rock!! Peacock table is the best. Second: wicker tray. I've been decopaging everything that doesn't move with chinoiserie paper napkins...Easter eggs, pumpkins, skulls, Christmas ornaments... I cracked up laughing at your opening comment about not needing to visit the thrift store for about three years; me, too! I could probably open my own thrift store. Craft on, Sister! Thank you for inspiring us.
Thank you! 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed today’s video. I was hoping I could come up with some good ideas using the things I already had (since it was -14 degrees outside!🥶
All the items you made look lovely. The peacock lamp turned into a table was my favorite. It looked so pretty styled. I must buy some of the gold, it elevated the peacock. The surprise item as another person said, was the twine holder. Such a good idea. When you were busy cutting it up and drilling, etc, I couldn't have imagined you were making a twine holder. I really loved all your decor pieces. The topiary looks lovely, the mirror, etc. 👏👏💖 Thank you for the inspiration. I must say we live in Germany and the wintets here are ice cold, windy, wet, grey, rainy and muddy. It snows from time to time. I like to work outside to sand wood and paint which I can't do in winter. But I can paint small items and decopage. I buy packets of paper napkins from charity shops for projects. Last year I went to school to learn German every day and left all my creative projects undone because I was busy stuyding and was tired. I wrote my exams in Nov 2023, & reached burnout after a year of school.😂 I passed my B1 exam thank goodness. I was on edge until I got my results in Dec. You have inspired me to get back into getting creative in winter. I can just tackle one small thing at a time. Thete are products that I cant buy in Germany like E6000, and the gold rub on paint. I could buy it on Amazon but they rack up the shipping costs and import taxes. The USA has the availability of great supplies and thrift stores. Again, thank you and enjoy all your beautiful pieces. 😁🤗💜💐
I love that wicker basket, and the peacock table is fantastic! The topiary is so unique and special. I've been trying to decide what to put on my front porch after I take down the little pre-lit trees I use in the winter. I'm inspired to try my hand at creating a topiary. Also, you look stunning in black, Sherry.
Oh, wow!!! Thank you, Anita! I can’t decide where to put the peacock table. I like it in my son’s old bedroom, but I want it downstairs where it will be seen more often.
So I was at a estate sale this weekend and saw wooden salad bowls, frames, wooden boxes of all sizes, bird figurines and all I could think was “wow what Sherry could do with that”! Love the peacock table and the cart with basket but it was all lovely!
Thank you, Melissa! That’s so funny! Did you think that I would glue the boxes and bowls together to create a topiary and put a bird on top?! I hope you bought some good things!
I always find nice table lams bases and wondered if they can be used as a table base, awesome idea with the peacock table and very well executed. Everything else is just as creative and gorgeous ❤
Thanks so much! 😊 The topiary was definitely a work of love. I am not a great painter, so trying to paint straight lines around a rounded surface took me awhile! 😜
Hi Sherry! I have never seen a peacock lamp and I am so in love with the table -- my favorite ❤️. Also the mirror, green basket, topiary - every project is amazing. Thanks for sharing 😊❤️ OH, thanks for the peek into your thrift store stash 😉
Peacock table for the win! Looks like a Restoration Hardware item. Fun and unique use of disparate items, the topiary as an art piece would be wonderful in a garden.
I think my favorite thing you have ever done was the peacock table. It just made my heart sing when you were finished with it. Amazing and stunning! Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your God given creativity with us. I love that you recycle. I wish everyone would do that instead of buying new things and then “upcycling” them. I much prefer to watch all of you crafters who recycle and refurbish and help keep things from going to the landfills. Everyone is a winner when you do that. Again, thank you. Keep it going. You are an inspiration and blessing to many.
That peacock table is everything!!! The wicker tray was nicely done, too. If my husband would let me, our garage would look like yours. 😂 I loved most of the crafty creations. Well done.
I really like the topiary. There are so many possibilities for making those. I was glad you said you ordered your transfers from Amazon. A lot of channels use those overpriced IOD transfers when the ones from Amazon are just as good.
Thank you! The IOD transfers are very pretty, but they are SO expensive. When I order an IOD package, it is always one where I can use all of the transfers because I sure don’t want to pay $40 and only use a few!
Fun way to go about creating this week Sherry - looking through your stash! You came up with some creative ideas and I thought my favorite was going to be the pretty basket. Then I saw the Peacock table. And then there was the topiary dupe. So after careful consideration, I ranked them in this order: table, basket, topiary. But it wasn't easy. Loved them!
I've been hanging on to a lamp for years because I knew one day I would use it in a creative way. You're peacock table is the solution I've been waiting for. Yes! Thank you, thank you.
With each new project I thought this is the one! When I tried to choose which was my favorite I realized I couldn’t choose, so I will say my lease favorite was the wagon! Blessed and calm days!
GENIUS. I love Sherry that you see the glory in any old piece. You have an incredible mind. And I'm glad you create one of a kind projects. I stopped watching all the other DIT creators because they were doing all the same stuff. I'm so glad you have your own mind.
I love all the rich colors you use. I used to be more farmhouse but the lack of color left me longing for something more; I started adding color back and it has made my heart burst with joy. I especially enjoy greenery. This video collab with Teresa and Julie is perfect and full of inspiration. Bravo!❤😊👍🏻
Thank you so much! I think we all tried to embrace the farmhouse look, and it was fun for a while. (Most of my interior walls are still painted gray-repainting is on the to do list.) I agree color makes me happy!
My absolute favorite project was the mirror. It turned out beautiful. I love it so much. I would absolutely purchase it and hang it in my home. I also enjoyed the frame with the shadow box attached to it, the cloche and the wooden green basket with the twine on the handle.
Hi Sherry, I hope you’re doing well. I know it’s very cold everywhere nowadays I am in San Antonio Texas and we have serious black eyes so a lot of us can’t drive anywhere so we’re kind of stuck in the house too. Thank you so much for all your wonderful ideas I love the peacock table you made so creative, I have a few things I am putting together to send you. I hope you enjoy it. You have a wonderful day and thank you again for all your time and your wonderful videos. Oh by the way I like your new haircut. It looks great on you. Take care, Marty.
Oh, Marty, thank you! You are such a sweetheart! We have friends in Dallas and have heard about the power grid outages. I sure hope Texas can get that figured out. It’s -14 degrees outside, but at least my furnace is working!
I can't decide if my favorite is the peacock table or the finial! You did such a creative job in putting together all the elements and making both a cohesive unit! You have very inspiring ideas!
Well as you know we all love the peacock table. Everything else turned out amazing too. But I am on the lookout for a peacock lamp ❤
Thank you! Hope you find one! 🤞

Oh, thank you, Brianne! (The table was my favorite, too! 😊)
That fabric in the tray would go perfectly with my sofa!
Oooh, what color is your sofa? Mine is gray, and I want to sell it and get a blue or green one!
@CanterburyCottage I have a floral sofa with roses in those very colors: Ivory, burgundy and pink roses on a very dark background. Yes, I love my granny chic!
The topiary is gorgeous as is the peacock side table. But let’s face it everything came out beautifully
Oh, that’s so sweet, June! 😊

Loved them all, but my favorite was the table made from the peacock lamp. Thanks for sharing with us.☺️
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!😊
These upcycles all turned out so so cute. Love them all. I have to say, I laughed when I saw your thrift stash, it looks like a thrift store. TFS
Thank you so much! I know my stash is embarrassing. I bought far too much stuff when I was running a retail booth!

Oh, thank you! I love that you called it the “ugly mirror.” 🤣
Nailed it! That peacock table is stunning!
Oh, thank you, Helen! 😊
The first three and the peacock table. All were lovely.
Thank you, Connie! 😊
The table made from the peacock lamp is my favourite project of all you have ever done.
All the projects are marvellous ! My favorit is the small table with the golden peacock.
Oh, thank you, Christine! (Mine too!)
The peacock table is my favorite. Exquisite!
❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Favorite was the peacock table. You're just unbelievably creative...love watching your vision unfold.
❤
Thank you so much, Pat! The peacock table was my favorite, too!
That peacock table turned out fabulous! Will have to keep an eye out for a similar lamp!
The peacock table turned out fabulous! The laundry box also looks super handy. 😊
❤❤
Thanks so much, Pamela! 😊
Loved them!
The peacock table is something else. I love the shadowbox frame too.
❤❤
Thank you, Molly! 😊
I've been hanging on to a lamp for years because I knew one day I would use it in a creative way. You're peacock table is the solution I've been waiting for. Yes! Thank you, thank you.
You are so welcome! I hope you’ll send me before and after photos when you finish!
@@CanterburyCottage Won't be able to get to the project for a couple weeks but I will take before and afters and send them your way.
My favorites today were the peacock lamp table and tall finial.
Thank you, Mary! 😊
Love the artichoke sticking out of that frame ❤being Italian I’m gonna have to make that!❤thanks for the inspiration
Oh, thank you! Artichokes are so interesting (and tasty)! 😜
@@CanterburyCottage your very welcome and yes they are
I especially ❤ the tray, the mirror & the 🦚 table
Thank you, Angela!
I like the transformed round tray and really like the peacock table.
I always enjoy your videos.
Thanks so much 😊 You are so kind, Mary! 😊
The peacock table is perfection! What a great idea for a lamp base.
Thank you! 😊
With each new project I thought this is the one! When I tried to choose which was my favorite I realized I couldn’t choose, so I will say my lease favorite was the wagon! Blessed and calm days!
Loved all your projects, especially the peacock table.
Thanks so much, Cindy! The peacock table was my favorite, too!
GENIUS. I love Sherry that you see the glory in any old piece. You have an incredible mind. And I'm glad you create one of a kind projects. I stopped watching all the other DIT creators because they were doing all the same stuff. I'm so glad you have your own mind.
Your peacock lamp-to-table is amazing! So creative! Thanks for sharing 👍 ❤
Thank you! 😊 (That was my favorite one, too!)
Every one of these were fabulous. I really enjoyed today's video.
So glad! I was hoping that I could make an interesting video with the things that I had on hand (because it was too cold to go shopping😜)!
I am in awe of the peacock lamp turned into the little side table. Brilliant!
I believe the peacock table is my favorite but I love everything you did a wonderful job
Thank you so much, Val! The table was my favorite, too!
❤❤
The Peacock table is Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing!
❤❤
Thank you! 😊 The table was my favorite, too!
LOVE the peacock table!
Thank you, Nina! That’s my favorite one this week, too!
Love the peacock lamp and the mirror!
❤❤
Thank you, Joy! 🥰
I can't decide if my favorite is the peacock table or the finial! You did such a creative job in putting together all the elements and making both a cohesive unit! You have very inspiring ideas!
Thanks so much, Barbara! I’m so glad you enjoyed these projects! 😊
These type of videos that do are my absolute favorite! Your creativity knows no bounds! Love them all. ❤
Glad you like them, Gina! Thank so much for watching and leaving a comment!
I like the whimsical topiary, but my favourite is the table you made from the lamp. Well done!
Thank you! 😊 (The table was my favorite, too!)
The peacock table definitely is my favourite, it's gorgeous.
