Of course it's a real MA-1. The VF 59 is slimmer than the regular MA-1 which you're reffering to but the then VF stands for vintage fit. These two are slim fit. Puffy look of the MA-1 isnt my pic anymore, slim fit are a bit too tight and that's where the MA-1 VF 59 steps in 😉👍🏻
MA-1 heritage is bigger in arms, shoulders but I'm 5,10, 160 pounds and my regular size is L / M but when it comes to the heritage classic MA-1 I buy S and it fits perfectly but of course you have that meaner look if that's what you prefer which I do like and only thing I dislike about the super slim fits is the " suit like " shoulders . Both MA-1 heritage and CWU 45/P two sizes down fit perfect and there's no baggy look but you still retain those wide shoulders.

Thanks! I took a look at the injector & by the looks of it, the sizing seems like it would be the same as the ma 1bomber . Especially being the same brand . So what ever size you get in this jacket you could get in that one .

Both jackets in this video are MA-1's slim fits for US/EU market. MA-1 VF 59 is also a slim version of the MA-1 but it's not reversible cause it has only one pull tab on the zipper and a large Alpha industries tab below collar. Has no flaps on outer pockets and has thicker collar, cuffs & waistband and a thin leather on zipper pull tab and single inner pocket on left chest.

I think Xl would work . Sizing down for the bombers is usually better from what I have seen
