I had weak cell signal at my house 15 pro max on 17.6.1 with only 1 bar. After updating to 18 public beta 5 I now have 3 bars and phone is running really well. Nice improvement for me, thanks for the videos, I always watch them.

5:04 - Idk, the Control Center has been the buggiest, most frustrating thing about the iOS 18 Beta for me. With each Beta version it feels like it doesn't improve, nor does it feel like anything at all improves if I'm being honest.

For me, Dark Mode no longer works and logging medication still causes the app to crash. Can't find a feedback app at all to report it. Even checked the App Store.
Hi Aaron, my iPhone went black the other day while I was just checking the time. It wasn’t dropped, didn’t get wet, overheated, or anything like that-it was just a regular night. The repair guy told me the screen was burnt out, and I believe him because the iPhone still made sounds and vibrated, but nothing showed up on the screen. I even tried restoring it, but nothing worked, so I ended up having the screen replaced. Do you think this could’ve been caused by the beta? iPhone 13 normal.
Watch 11OS still has this bug on the Ultra 2 where the speech to text won’t pick up what I’m saying into the watch. I have to keep hitting the little microphone button over and over again until it picks up what I’m saying.

Put a clock widget single medium size with UTC. Pressed and held and changed it to single small and then changed it back. Now there is Cupertino instead as time zone.
I don t have a problem with the tips app, but on TikTok, when I put the multilingv keyboard I am getting the second language first and I think that isn’t normal

CarPlay is killing me. Low quality audio when listening to music. So sporadic. Basically the head unit thinks the iPhone is playing voice audio and not media audio. It’s been very difficult to use.
With public beta 5 I noticed elimination of various app crash problems that cropped up in public beta 4, plus improved battery life on my iPhone 14 Plus
Personally I much prefer the latest beta for the phone app. In recents I hated when I had to press the little icon to call back because that action is the one I would always use it for so it should be the quickest and easiest
3:55 on the beta 6 the multilingual bug was on the Qwerty - Spanish, it doesn't matter if you choose the Ñ qwerty which is an important consonant on Spanish, it always shows the other qwerty on other apps.
I really hope they add light mode for the coloured app customization or even to allow to change the black background on whatever colour we choose. It really bothers me when I’m in light mode

As soon as the beta came out I downloaded it on my iPhone 15 pro Max and then I started playing Call of Duty and after half an hour of playing I noticed a big difference it didn't heat up almost at all and then I also notice a lot of difference the battery this update is super

You can’t just go to dark mode you have to actually switch the icons to dark mode or automatic

Just a heads-up after updating to the newest public beta the mirroring icon in control did appear on my 11 pro

By looking at the build number in settings, general and then about. Then tap the version number and it will show

iOS 18.1 Beta 2 is basically iOS 18 Beta 6 with Apple intelligence added. You are on a newer version so you won’t see the iOS 18 beta.

I wouldn’t say it’s recommended but if you’re worried about bugs or battery I wouldn’t update. If you don’t care about those things, then sure.

Dark mode app icons were great in previous betas. Now many icons stay light when in dark mode. iPhone 13 Pro Max.
