Some of those bikes where beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us all. That triumph speed 400.. I'd genuinely see myself owning one of those and i don't say that a lot about the vintage/classic bikes. 4:55 this bmw here is is my dream bike, but my soul leaves my body everytime I see the price tags 😂
Aren't they just! I love the Royal Enfields and The Triumphs so it was great to sit on a bunch of them. Haha the BMW's make the abovementioned look like bargains!
Just watched this looking for myself as I was there on the Saturday! It was a hot noisy day but itll have new meaning next year when I go after having my CBT and some bike riding experience!
Hey, yes the journey really takes the shine off it but it was a fantastic day out. Luckily we have loads of cool bike/car shows over here over the summer, might even ride there!
That food was great. It was a bit of a rush at the Bike Shed to be fair as I had to get back to Victoria to catch my coach back to Portsmouth. I would have loved to have walked around the parking garage too but I wanted a trucker cap so we went to the shop instead. It will be a more relaxed visit next time! You would love it 🤩
Hi Tommy lad , Nice to see you enjoying the show. I think your absence from your usual ride outs means your doing your MOD's tell me I'm not wrong 😂you will have to start your own bike shed on the isle imagine that for the tourists $$$ haha 👍
I wish that was the case, we've just had awful weather for the last 3 weeks. Ironically today is lovely but it's family time at the weekends so no riding for me! Things are looking up towards the end of the week through 🌞 I was chatting to my mate about this, there are no biker hangouts here at all - best we get is an ice cream van at a nice lookout car park! The island could be a mecca for motorcyclists, already the riders per capita is way more here than what I've witnessed when I've been living on the mainland. Something to place in my brain for future! 👌
wicked vid mate! bike shed is my local i go there quite often. would love to see a vid of you riding to the ferry then to london. they say ( where im from) you've never truly learned to ride until you can navigate london traffic. plenty of filtering opportunities also. if you do ever go to london again and you have the bike with you hit me up and i can arrange the ARR (All Round Riders) ride out group to meet up. theres around 25 of us all on geared bikes from L plates to Litre bikes. would be great to have you along for one of the rides from Aces cafe to bike shed then ending at the leake street tunnels biker bar at some point. happy riding mate
Thank you! Lucky you, it is a great place. It was a bit of a rush so I'd like to have a bit more time next time. It is funny you should say that. Cast your mind back to 1999, I'd passed my driving test earlier in the day and a friend and I decided to celebrate with a night out in the smoke. We jumped in my 1970's VW Camper and shot up the motorway (I lived in Basingstoke then - that was a sketchy first motorway mission on it's own in the dark!) and navigated Picadilly Circus when it was rammed. That would have been bad enough but my old bus used to stall every time you had to slow down, it was a nightmare but I have never been phased driving since being thrown in at the deep end! Leake Street tunnel looks good so I would love to go there, I'll have to let you know if the opportunity arises, thanks for the offer!
@@TwoWheelsTommy I love that! I find myself filtering down the dual carriageways now after I did a group ride a few weeks ago. Before I was too scared to even attempt it but with the push from some more knowledgable rider and tips on how to be safer, Ironically I now feel safer filtering than I do waiting around for someone who’s texting to hit me. You’re becoming a very good rider Tommy, can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next.
@loki2wheels Filtering is something I need to get on with. The weather has been rancid here since I last rode 3 weeks ago but finally tomorrow the weather is looking great, and I should have time to get out for a ride. Watch it snow now 🤣
You want us to comment? I saw you on a lot of bikes - and way more Triumph than REs... So... Time for the big license and then more bike? That sportster looked awful tiny and all the Triumphs looked "right"... But I won't push you. It's your bike choice, but...
It is on order! Haha what a beast, maybe one day. Bit overkill over here. The show really helped me get an idea of what kind of bike I'd like further down the road....

I found myself drooling when the Triumph 400 showed up.
I love the old classic bikes,, I'm also a fan of old classic car's.
You and me both 🤩

Ha, probably walked right past you! It was great siting on all the bikes. See you there next year!
Groovy Vid. Looks like a fun day with some incredible bikes. Journey looked a bit of a mare, but worth it 🙂

I'd love to go to the bike shed. Show looked good too!
It is fantastic, you should go!
It looks like you had fun!
A lovely day out. Long, but lovely!
Must’ve been the motocrossing that did the back in🤣
Yeah I had to show those boys how it's really done 🤣
@@TwoWheelsTommy 👍
Music was perfect, the food looked delicious. Love to head to Bike Shed some day, I'm jealous. 😅

I’ll bet it’s made you even keener to get the test done😃👍
Yes, very much so!

CbR’s 😍 BMWs 🥰 Ninjas 😝 heaven is real
Some wicked bikes, right!
Very good.
Yes, it was a good show. Very handy to be able to sit on a load of bikes 👌
@@TwoWheelsTommy I really enjoy your videos Tommy, one thing though. You need to leave more room was passing stationary vehicles.
@ronlysons6750 My instructor has mentioned it too, I'm working on it!

Yes we did spend a lot of time on the Triumph stand. I think those 400's are brilliant value for money. Matty loved the Thruxton!
The 400 seemed like a great value.
@whollymindless 100% 👌
So when are you getting a Rocket? 😂😂😂

@@TwoWheelsTommy that's the best thing about shows, window shopping 😊
Yes! I had better get a move on really and book my theory test!
The thumbnail threw me off.
Ha, I think that bike would throw me off if I got on it 🤣
