Went to my local Auto Repair shop and they wanted to charge me roughly 200 bucks to change the regulator and motor. I refuse to pay that much so i went to TH-cam to see if i can find a video on how to replace it myself. Thank god for this video and the 1A Auto on line store. Took me 30 minutes to not only fix the front but the back window also. Thank you 1A Auto!!!! You saved me 100 bucks!!!

@tzaakari On the window that semi-works it could be the motor's getting tired. You may want to take the door panel off and see in there's anything inside of the door slowing it down. On the other door it may be a bad switch or a possible broken wire between the door and body of the car that's making it not work. Hope this helps you out.
Hello Sir, I was wondering if you sell or know where I can get that big spring that connects on to that regulator pin. My window fell off the track due to the spring breaking and that pin coming out. I haven’t been able to locate one to buy. I would greatly appreciate any help you could provide me. Thx Chris

I just want my front passenger window to stay up. It's currently stuck in down position. Not trying to replace the regulator or motor. What should i do?

If the window regulator is binding up because it's broke, our new replacement ones should solve the issue for you.

all my other windows work except the drivers side its stuck and i do not hear anything when i do push the window switch do you think it could be the switch or the regulator.?
My 98 Malibu driver window makes this loud grinding noise and stops moving unless I push down or pull up on it about every third of the way down and up (sorta like an electric drill that's not able to go any further) Can I replace this part and fix that?
my driver side and passenger side windows go down but have trouble going back up. I have to sit there and put the switch multiple times for awhile and then it will go up. drivers side controls dont work passenger side window, but that window switch works sometimes. what is wrong? i have been told the window regulator is bad but i dont understand how that could be in this case.
Hi. I got a 2003 Chevy Malibu. My rear window passenger side doesn't roll down from the driver's control panel but it works perfectly if you roll it down from its own switch. Any help?
You may want to check the switch on the drivers side to see if it has power going to and from the switch. You can check this with an ohm meter or a test light pretty easily. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 866-403-3393
Why didn't you connect the master control MODULATOR center, to see if it works, BEFORE reinstalling to door panel together, ECT. I've done this before with new parts, unfortunately my NEW parts were junk, they WEREN'T ANY GOOD, SO IT TURNS OUT DOUBLE work/labor, I HAD TO DO.🥺😲😳😵🤯😭😭😱
Thanks for the great video. I would not be able to dissemble my car's door if it wasn't for your video. Once inside the door trying to find what was wrong with the power window, i found that the spring felt off in two pieces. I tried to find just that piece online but can't find it without having to buy the whole module. Does any body know where can i buy it?

I just need to know how to replace the front speakers
My front driver side power window will go down but not up. I removed the motor then connected it and the motor will move in a down direction but now in an up direction. Do I need a power window switch? ( Part #: 1AWES00061)
You may want to test the power going to and from the switch with a test light or an ohm meter. If there's power to the switch, and it's only working in one direction, it may be a bad switch.
Does this work for a 2004 Chevy malibu classic?
