It's a pleasure to watch these people, including spouses, interact and have fun together. The skills of the guys in building their sport and recovery vehicles is absolutely amazing.
Hi everyone at Fab Rats. Love the show, coming to it late so playing a lot of catch up. Michelle is right, we don’t say 'shrimp' in Australia, it’s definitely 'prawn'. It was probably a Paul Hogan marketing thing for the US. Thanks for setting everybody straight Michelle. Cheers, Gordon from Melbourne.
Yeah! Blame Paul Hogan (from Crocodile Dundee). We have Small, Medium and Large 'King Prawns' (that's a species), we have tiger prawns and schoolies.(they are the tastiest and most fiddley to peel) All the other varieties are named after where they come from. I am speaking from the Sydney point of view. We don't have lobsters (they have long front legs with pincers) We have crayfish, again named after the costal region they are caught. Sorry for the rant.

The clip that shows Paul’s immediate concern for Matt during the derby tells me all I need to know about his character. Very glad I am going back to watch all the old episodes.
Just watched this again 9 months later and just love watching the process change over and over again to get it right and not just close enough. It really is fun watching the mental fabrication process as it evolves.

Great video! This definitely shows how much work it really takes to set up properly suspension geometry from scratch. That's really going to solid setup when it's done.
Papa Darr, I tore the biceps tendon off the radius lifting drywall off the truck. I was 45 and the recovery was rough, but 2 years later I am finally starting to feel strong on that side again. The only drawback is not being able to twist my arm like I used to. You look like you are doing great after only a week or so. Heal fast and get behind the wheel soon.
Michelle, I‘m glad that you’ve dropped the music on your more recent videos. The music on this one made it hard to hear the comments. Music is fine, just not while the subjects are talking and not too loud. You do a fantastic job on all your videos! I’ve watched almost all of them and eagerly await each new one.
This will sound like a lie but I swear it's true. When I was a kid a friend's grandpa had a system I have never seen anyone else use. He just dumped all his tools randomly in a bunch of 5 gallon buckets. When he went to work on a car, he would literally just dump them on his concrete shop floor. When he was done he shoveled them all up with a metal snow shovel and dumped them in the buckets. He said that no matter how organized he was at the beginning of a repair, most of his tools ended up on the floor anyway, and this system saved him time in the end.
Paul and Matt at it again what a great duo! Happy new year ya'll hope it is a truly blessed year for you and your families! God bless and take care stay safe.
Yep, that is life. One step forward and three back so you can try again. That is okay. Been there and done that. Glad to spend the time with you folk.
