Did you disconnect the factory relay,?. I have the same truck as you down to the color. I did this modification and the new relay is buzzing, and the truck is still trying to crank after the ignition is turned off.😂 ?
No, I left the existing relay, I have not had any issues with the truck starting, sounds like the relay is bad.
Can you use a regular Ford solenoid or does it have to be that brand?
Yes ford solenoid will work.
