    Hi Mike, I think you're on-target recommending the cold outreach approach. I'm a freelance writer (now full-time, used to do it on the side) and have made several new contacts and a couple of new clients this way.
    However, I'm going to respectfully take issue with your suggestion to do 50/day for a month. I've done a massive all-out email outreach like this a few times. If you spend just 5 minutes on every contact with no breaks whatsoever, that's 4 hours and 15 minutes per day. That is unsustainable unless you have no job, and doesn't account for taking a little longer for some contacts, even the smallest amount of vetting, or coming across a website that doesn't have a contact form. You have to hit 100% of your shots to get it under 5 hours. Even if you have all day, that is an enormous expectation to do for 30 days in a row.
    Conversion rates are often 1% so a smaller recommendation is OK too, and far more likely that you'll make it through the whole month. And prospecting for appropriate companies in you niche takes more than 5 seconds also. A .009% conversion rate doesn't mean anything if you can't accomplish the intense work for 30 days it takes to achieve it. You're going to run out of buyer requests that make any sense as well.
    Again, I think the concept is spot-on. But even for someone who's done it and knows what they're looking for, 50 per day is a real stretch, practically and mentally. Doing a sustained 10-20 per day would go a long way toward building a sustainable habit. And even just a little digging on each prospect will eliminate the need to go through 1500.
    If you get even a small conversion rate, it's totally worth the effort you make. But I was disappointed that this suggestion didn't seam realistic or includes a glimpse of the legwork necessary to pull this off.
    I enjoy a lot of your videos and suggestions though. You are one of the few reputable people on TH-cam that discuss Fiverr and I look forward to what you share!

    • @MikeNardiTV
      @MikeNardiTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Erika, really appreciate you taking the time to comment! I agree, and disagree. I agree that spending 5 minutes on 50 contacts can amount to a lot of time spent prospecting each day. But I guess whether or not that is sustainable depends on the circumstances of the person doing this. I would argue that if you ask any small business owner how much time they spent initially getting their business off the ground before quitting their 9-5, 4 hours per day would probably be a common answer if not longer.
      Also, you could streamline that process a couple of ways to be able to achieve a high number of touches per day without necessarily spending 4-5 hours per day. One example would be, instead of researching 1 contact at a time, spending a couple of minutes on each then writing an email. You could do things like picking one specific industry, and one specific employee type in that industry that you’ll be targeting. Build a list of as many people that fit that buyer criteria, and then create a series of emails you could use to prospect to them. Once you’v put together that list, it’s a relatively quick exercise to change key pieces of information in the email to tailor it to each person. This obviously isn’t going to give you the most tailored approach, but it’s a strategy almost every marketing team I’ve ever worked with implements to cast a wider net while at the same time targeting specific buyer personas.
      At the same time, I also agree that taking on 20 contacts per day would be more easily attainable, and obviously less stressful. At the end of the day, I’m just providing whatever guidance I can to help people make the best choices for themselves and their businesses. I chose 50 per day, because that’s something I’ve done for many years in both my 9-5 and side hustles I’ve tried running. Whether that’s a number people want to hit themselves, is up to them, I’d encourage anyone to give it a shot.
      Your comment does get me thinking, might be very helpful if I make some future videos that go through some of the sales strategies/workflows I’ve picked up through a career in sales that could help make the process of prospecting less stressful. I’ll add it to my to-do list and hopefully put something out soon that can give people some tips streamline things.
      Anyways, really appreciate the comment, always love having a conversation to talk about ways things can be improved! :) Take care!

    • @elkrull
      @elkrull 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MikeNardiTV I agree, and just creating some different methods of going through this process, given that not everyone may have the stamina for a power-through, would be super helpful.
      I love the idea of a series. Something suitable for someone with more limited time, and a bigger approach for someone who has more time or is looking for a bigger impact.
      All of those would be great video ideas, and the breakdown of the time-saving methods you just mentioned would be golden nuggets. That could change someone's entire confidence in what they think they can do by seeing various options with a few more details.
      Go for it - looks like you have work to do- LOL!

Which can be a lot of hard work considering that you are going to have about 10% of your buyers not leave a review or hire and then fire you because they clearly didn’t understand your gig.

    Hi,
    Your suggestion is good but to email people you need email address. So from where to get the email address and also other thing is if the person is in DNC list and if you email them your email could get blacklisted. So how to overcome these two things?

    • @MikeNardiTV
      @MikeNardiTV  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are a ton of ways to get email addresses, building a list is probably the most important part of the process. Lead magnets or submission forms are probably the highest quality way of doing this.
      As far as email marketing rules they vary from country to country, it would make sense to get familiar based on where you are from
