when you did the path>difference. you could have just selected all then done path>difference too as the qr code was the only thing on your document that would have taken both (all) the extra parts away from the code in one go. like everything with computers and inkscape it can sometimes throw a curve ball but generally it will work and is a lot easier to select ;)
Excellent, that's really shows the difference (no pun intended) between someone that knows inkscape learning inkstitch, and some the knows inkstitch but is learning inkscape. Thank you
I only 'know' inkscape because I have had a digital cutter (Silver Bullet Professional) for years and use it to make svg to cut on it so you kind of pick up a few tricks & shortcuts along the way LOL
