I think beta makes some of the most beautiful bike with their graphics and plastics.

So to clarify are you saying on the new 23 300 RE that the modded head and cylinder are the same updates that the 22 got ?

Where I think many are failing in their choice between the Race and RR editions is that the KYB Shocks are really not the best on singletrack woods and gnarly rock enduro. They're very stiff, thus why they are on the 'race' editions . I was torn between the Race and the RR on my '23 Beta as the price is literally the same (a mere $300 more for the Race edition). I talked to my buddy who races Enduro in Tennessee and he strongly recommended to go with the Sachs shocks for the enduro type of riding I like to do. At the dealer, where I bought the bike in Colorado Springs, they had 3 built up Race editions but no built up RR editions of the 300 (they had 2 boxed up in the back). The salesman strongly again warned me against getting the Race edition as the KYB shocks simply aren't plush enough for the enduro riding and his advice was to go with the RR version of the 300. I've been on the 300rr now for 5 months and I love it. The Sachs shocks are the best I've ridden on a dirt bike in rock gardens. They just soak them up. Anyway, that's my $.02. I love KYB shocks but this particular version of them simply aren't the best choice for enduro riding, thus why they're on the 'Race' edition. Great content!

250rr race edition doesn’t come with the new head and porting?

Will there be a new 50cc?

      Not that I'm aware of

I'm genuinely curious, what is the appeal of the 50cc beta fullsize dirtbike? Seems like a 50cc full size bike would need pistons every single ride.....?

I wish they would come out with a fuel injected 2 smoker I would make the switch.

As long as you want your hands vibrated off its good.

They did improve that over the last few years

@@thedifferencerealestate8905 21 300 XCW. Hopefully a 23 XC soon. Sorry, the counter balancing is no where near the KTM on the other bikes. Has it gotten better? Yes. But it is not the same. What are you riding?

@@chewyb383 Beta, 300 Race and 200 RR. I used to ride KTM and switched to betas in 2021. Best thing I’ve ever done bike wise. I race enduros and Harescrambles. I had the xcf KTM. I don’t notice any vibrations with my bikes. I do notice the betas handle much better for me any ways. KTM are decent machines. I think a bit overrated these days.

@@thedifferencerealestate8905 I never noticed the difference on the vibration until I switched to KTM counter balance. (2 stroke). Had a CRF 450 and hated it. There is a large difference on the 2 strokes. Specially on a 2+hr race. The 200 Beta is a great bike. I just like a little more power. It's easier to ride to me. I went from amateur to expert on a 200 in a year decades ago (from a 125). Excellent motors. The beta 200 is great though. I will probably put my son on one when he outgrows his 85sx instead of a 125/250f. The 300 is great as well (too much vibration in the bars for me) I just prefer less vibration on a 2t. I'm prone to arm pump.

Would the rx piston and head bolt to a 2020 xtrainer?

So how does the front axle pull work? Is it like a mountain bike quick release? I’ve never seen them before on a dirt bike. Do you just get the nut off and pull it out in like 30 seconds?? Bit confused

    • @mxgryan
      @mxgryan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Spin off nut, grab axle puller and yank it out. Keeps you from having to get something to tap on the axle from the other side first.

Do you know where in the rpm the performance mod add power?
Im looking to buy the RE but im fear these mod remove some low end grunt to add power mid/top!

The worst part about Betas is the parts. I live in NZ and parts are super expensive and take forever to arrive. A basic top end rebuild on a 2 stroke can cost double the price compared to other manufacturers 😢

I’ve heard about a few issues and the blinkers junk on the handlebars is dumb but my 17 300 race has had zero issues and is still awesome. Everyone I know who has bought Betas are stoked and say they are staying with Beta. Don’t believe the negative BS.. just like they say: parts are hard to get. Not true at all. (Not for me) I would not own a KTM. They are mass produced and I’ve ridden new and older KTMs they’ve gone corporate. Beta truly pays attention to Detail snd the motors are unbelievable
