I feel like I just took an hour and a half long masterclass in writing taught by Ram V, and I was listening while doing my day job, I was frustrated that I couldn't just stop and go to writing right away.

When the pages of current comic history are written, Ram V's Swamp Thing will be mentioned with Alan Moore. I wasn't even reading it at first, but I was plowed over monthly by Catwoman. I was convinced to read Swamp Thing and was then leveled by the poetry of Swamp Thing.

My fav writer among the modern writers❤. Come on I read Catwomen just for him and loved the series, he made her story soo cul. Anything Ramv is a must read.

One book not discussed is V's run on Catwoman. Nothing fancy, but with the right storytelling artist for that character and grit it really was a quiet "gotta-read" "can't wait to see" blast from the old monthly past. A shame it had to change over just when I was feeling like a kid at the wire wrack in a drug store again all dying about finally getting a funny book like next month's Catwoman.
But V is so good he's even got me reading an issue or two of Carnage. And unless he's a siniser 6 sideshow freak I just don't generally dig me too much Carnage. Now, I have to see how much I can dig...
