Fincher did NOT direct this interview
I noticed that too.
LMAOO
LOL true
I came to comments specifically to see if someone mentioned this lol
“You create an emotional attachment with the audience, I don’t need that for Mark Zuckerberg…” Lmao he’s got that right
Did the editor of Bohemian Rhapsody mangle this?
Fincher's filmmaking philosophy?
“Stick to your plan. Trust no one. Stick to the plan. Forbid empathy. Stick to the plan. Anticipate, don’t improvise. Stick to your plan. Never yield an advantage. Stick to the plan. Fight only the battle you’re paid to fight.”
I got that reference. 😂
“learn your craft, it’ll never stop you from being a genius”
These anti-copyright edits are fucking hilarious. Reminds me of The Thick of It.
Whoever cut this needs to be taken out and shot.
@@MIDIGrade Stevie Rosam
This is the most nauseating edit I've ever seen in an interview
@@MIDIGrade But is he wrong though?
@@MIDIGrade That's not a death threat. That's just an edgy joke.
@@drugmate9710 a terrible one at that :/
I had a seizure from the edits in this interview.
This interview is cut like crazy
That's David basically
Fincher would kill somebody if his film edited like this.
Always interesting and inspiring to listen to Fincher.
What a cool, articulate, genius creep.
He certainly likes biology a lot
I wonder what David Fincher would think about the editing in this video…
God, I just wanted to say, Who the hell directed (edited) this interview!???? Not Fincher! 😂😂
I am always surprised that hes older and i have no idea why!
He's incredible. Much sweeter and softer than his movies give off.
I hope there's more Mindhunter 😭
Wonderful, fascinating, educational, entertaining...so...Please release the full pro-shot record of the 90m+ interview. Even just the audio?
The words are gold but the editing is coal
😂
👌
This director reinvorgated movies for me when I saw fight club, such a strange film that should not have worked at all but did. Also great how he call Zuckerberg a robot in the nicest way in this video.
11:27 a word to indie filmmakers. We still get time to develop our characters.
Now I understand why he ... and Kubrick ... take 137 takes. I agree with him!
You need three takes. Some scenes require more, but results oriented directing is off putting. Again, some scenes are exceptions, but most only require three takes. Save the crews morale.
Really doesn't think Fincher gets the credit he deserves. I know he gets praise but this man is on another level.
The editing and some of the framing is really weird. Your other videos have been good though
David's lav mic pointing down instead of up is really messing with my temper
The British method
Typical unpaid intern editor scenario.
This was so good!
Why hasn’t he made a film since gone girl ? 😫
Mindhunter
He made Mank
@@igug5268 Gary's comment was 3 years ago, before Mank came out
The interview is a reminder to pay your editor . Or this was a deliberate attempt to remind people who important editors are
I'm the thousandth like! 😂
Who tf cut this interview?
this edit is so weird :) was it cut by AI ?:)
he is tipycal that we can call .... daddy 😅
You dont need 100 -200 takes
KACHRAA KI PAIDAISH...
