Thank you for the kind words! I'm very glad it was helpful! It is large, but very effective. They do offer a smaller version of this gun that would be much better for carrying on you. That might be a good option for you to look into. The Byrna SD Have a wonderful day!
Nice testing. That’s one of the more compact Less Lethal options that’s actually suitable for EDC. I think it’s a great design and you shot it with great accuracy.
Thanks! Yeah I am quite happy with this tool. It works very well and seems to be reliable. I genuinely carry it all the time when I leave my house. Thanks for watching!
Very good demo. I was not surprised that the gas pellets worked against a hard target. However, do they work on a soft target. Your attacker isn't going to be a solid piece of wood but rather someone wearing soft clothing. My question is do the pellets pop if they hit someone wearing a soft thick shirt or a coat made of soft material.
@johnnycortez46 either the byrna Max blue ones or the pepper pellet red ones Byrna max is more potent but not legal in some states. I have the byrna max as it is legal where I am
you should have done more researching and gotten you a few of cheaper but more powerful launchers or one like the mercury rise intrubuster , which is called the pistelleX 68 now , byrna is mot a good choice bro , you will regret spending over 500 dollars for a low power launcher !!! good luck and best wishes bro !
So if you deploy this on someone inside a building ( pepper spray) then you would be affected by the spray also? And or in the outdoors where the wind direction is coming at you. . I don't think you could ask someone attacking to "please come from THAT direction ". ???? So now you have a civil suit from causing distress and possibly putting an eye out or brushing.????
I definitely understand the concern about the blast. They make basic kinetic rounds that do not burst, and that would be a better option if you are worried about the overspray. At the same time, if you are in a self defense situation, you would rather be choked up a bit than dead or seriously hurt. I am not saying it isn't a problem, but merely stating the considerations. I do thank you for watching the video however!
I saw a demonstration with the orange and black version. It did NOT go well. Misfires. Balls rolling out the barrel. 3-4 attempts but no fire. Maybe they've worked out the bugs since their review, but please be careful. Practice in "real life" citations, in which you'd pull piece from the holster, switch off the safety and deploy the round. If the equipment fails your tests, consider getting your money back.
I do appreciate your caution. I have had misfires a couple times, but not often. I have never had a round fall out. I can safely say this is considerably trustworthy. This concern over failure in the tool however is the reason I practice so much with mine. I want to make sure this thing CANNOT fail me if I ever need to use it. So far I would say the tool is dependable after all my tests I've personally done. Thank you for watching the video and taking time to comment to me. I always enjoy hearing from people. If you are interested, check back in tomorrow at noon here and my latest video will be coming out in regards to your concerns. Have a great weekend!
This was a helpful review. It looks large for everyday carry for a person my size but does appear effective. Thanks for the demo!

@billhman that is a very good question you bring up. Would you like if I made another more accurate test video of this?
So which pellets your recommend for self defense
@johnnycortez46 either the byrna Max blue ones or the pepper pellet red ones

Seems like a lot of work to load up if a situation arises. Otherwise I like it.
@GaryGrzybek you should never need to load it in an actual use situation, but yes it does take a moment to load when out on the range.
