    They are a very good alternative. I purchased one for my daughter years ago when she went off to college. It is well made and certainly better than many other such options. I wish I could afford to purchase one of these for all of my daughters. Hers looks just like this one, in orange, to help indicate that it wasn’t a firearm.

    I have a whole pile of launchers that I have tried out over the past year and every one of them has some kind of quirk. I have some that were tweaked and are very powerful. the problem is that they are big and bulky or the balls fall out. I bought two of the LE models. An orange and a black one are my new favorites. I carry one when walking my pup and the other for target practice in the backyard. The LE is powerful. It pretty much destroyed the target tent I was using firing at 30 feet away. Ripped the target insert apart at the seams. The LE can be somewhat concealed and I want to carry a marker not altered for everyday carry since that might be a gray area legal-wise.

    Excellent Video as always. I love how critics loves to say it won't work when none of them have been shot 4 or 5 times or at point blank range.😂😂

    I approve this message! I currently own 2 Bryna SD's for my wife and daughter. I need one for myself. Yes, I also carry the real deal as well, and this LE is on my bucket list. I've read all the positive reviews about the LE. 💯💯😁😁🙏🙏

      @habanerosselfdefenseanddec1446 Currently, I don't own a Bryna. I CCW my Walther PPQ M2. However, I'll be carrying the BRYNA LE when I do get it. It will give me the options for sure. Not everything needs to be met with lethal force.
      In addition, I will NEVER carry open. I wouldn't want a target on my back. 😁😁💯💯

    Question: How can this launcher be 'less than lethal' when it penetrates a "skull" per observation of this video? Or are these "skulls" not actually as hard as a real skull? Just asking please?

    • @AlternateArmsSD
      @AlternateArmsSD ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Skully is 3D printed at %30 infill. It is hard, but not nearly as hard as a human skull. Now, that mask didnt even slow the round down. They are moving coming out of the launcher.

    Ok. I have to question the mask there. Those lenses should not shatter like that, like they are made from some cheap plastic not intended for actual airsoft or paintball. The black plastic part just crumpled like a cheap toy. Looked like some knock-off not made to be used for protection.

      It's like a paint-ball launcher or BB-launcher, so read associated statutes. It's a pneumatic projectile launcher. Some statutes bar use of the tear-gas projectiles.

    I am utterly shocked and offended by this "defense gun". Why in the world would someone want this???? Are back playing cowboys and Indians???

    • @JackofNothingess
      @JackofNothingess ปีที่แล้ว

      A great point. I would say that this would only be worth it if:
      1. You're a past felon and could no longer purchase a center-fire smokeless powder firearm and would want to add this in addition to your black powder firearm for defense.
      2. You do legally own a center-fire smokeless powder firearm and would like a less lethal option to add to your self defense plans.
      3. Because it's good for backyard plinking?
      4. Because why not?

    • @BrilloHead
      @BrilloHead ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What's to be offended by? Not everyone can own a real gun and some don't want to kill a life in order to defend one's self. And in some restrictive states like CA and NY, the Byrna might be the only legal self defense weapon you can carry.

    • @habanerosselfdefenseanddec1446
      @habanerosselfdefenseanddec1446 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the criminals are not playing cowboys and indians. They are out for treasure and pain. This is a way to stop them.

    • @Byrnanation
      @Byrnanation  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As a tool for less-lethal self-defense, we're proud to provide both gun owners and non-gun owners an option to incapacitate and deescalate. Different situations call for difference responses and having an opportunity to not immediately resort to lethal force should be a common sense mindset. We're here to enlighten, not offend.
