The price is a win, so it's absolutely balanced with the boring and uninspired I would describe this with simplicity has a price to but effectively good.
The s24 and s24+ ate actually killing the competition this year as baseline models 🔥👌🏽 very nicely done... ultra models are kinda losing value for money now
True.purchased Asus zenfone 8 two years ago when it launched in India, still use it everyday and I would definitely buy zenfone 10 if it’s launched at attractive price.
The restructuring of ASUS last year definitely has impacted the Zenfone's compact design factor. At this point you might as well just grab an ROG phone instead of the Zenfone 11 Ultra.
This looks a lot like the ROG Phone 8. I think Asus has made the right call with this, with all the the best spec and features a flagship can offer. Hopefully they still remain the compact version thou.
Asus started missing the target when they abandoned the flip. This 11th gen is just like the 10th, we have worse front camera (it can only record up to 1080p in 2024, like, how is this even possible?), no macro, no charger in the box, only 2 years of updates... This is awful. I want the Zenfone 6 era back. Flip was the key for best selfies, no black giant dot in the middle, large battery, all good. Samsung made their flip phones waterproof, so surely we could have that in that flipping thing. Why are they so blind? If they start copying everyone, there will be no reason to get a Zenfone.
The design is without a doubt worse compare to Zenfone 10. Asus lost touch with reality and the customers will leave them since there is no discernable difference with competing brands
Awesome, still enjoy my Zenfone 9, will use it to end of security updates, so 4 years. Nothing it cant do. Spare phone is a Pixel 5 5G again for the size and security updates ended Nov 23
Here's my idea: most people like small phones bc they're more dailiable but the problem is they're too expensive and wn u'r paying that much, u r expecting all the features and battery life and wtnot. So y not make smaller midrangers and specially lowrangers? Like the iphone SE or the Galaxy A40. I think smaller phones with good main and selfie camera and light weight body have a real chance in that price bracket
About to buy an ASUS ROG 8 Pro Edition and along comes this... Never looked @ Zenfones. This has a greater asthetic appeal to me over the ROG phone. Should I just get the Zenfone or wait for this? Specs are pretty similar huh.
Once I bought an Asus Transformer Pad tf101g and it turned out to have broken pixels, fortunately it was immediately replaced. A few years later, I bought an Asus Zenphone 5z and it also turned out to have broken pixels, but this time there was no replacement and I returned the money)
It's bizarre. The Zenfone 9/10 had the issue of appealing to an increasingly niche market of compact phone fans. Now that the Zenfone isn't a compact phone anymore... what's the appeal? What about this phone would appeal to anyone over a Galaxy, Pixel, hell even a OnePlus?
Asus offers better features than stock Android and you can just swap to stock if needed, but years of updates are bad. I suppose most people that actually buy the Asus probably know how to flash though.
That is the worst part... you can't flash it. Like many phones these days. The bootloader is locked down tight and while Asus originally had a tool for that that they removed as they were planning to update it. They never actually released a updated version. The ZF9, ZF10 and ZF11 cannot be flashed and it seems likely they never will.
I will stick with my Note 9 launch edition till they get rid of the punch out on the screen. I rather have no front cam then this bad solution. I would consider buying it without the hole.
Small form-factor had little demand, but at least it was a demand and largely void of competition. They went from where they had the market to themselves, to now trying to compete with Xiaomi, Samsung, Apple, Google and everyone else. Silver lining. The ZF10 is now a lot cheaper, being last-gen. So I got myself little pocket beast that hopefully will last quite a while. Not sure about the future. Hopefully google will still be making semi-compact Pixels and has figured out how to improve the efficiency of their Tensor processors by then.
Asus might have just miss out here, whenever the tech community talk of a small phone the first recommendation is usually the Asus ZenFone. But a person looking for a big phone will be better off getting a galaxy ultra.
Not almost exactly the same as the ROG 8, it's literally the same phone with little tweaks here and there😅. I'm guessing Asus couldn't be bothered this year. I see this becoming like Xiaomi, who release basically the same device in different markets under different names and colours. Might not be a completely bad thing.
security updates should go forever from google. android major updates can be two major updates as phone gets slower after every update until it start lagging. so its a good sign. love tho see jack port, cuz this is still important. Others taken away this away from us, i feel like majority manufacurs sold us out. I think i will purchase excatly this one. but the problem mate you didnt reviewed apps , fucntions, and multi apps on screen and other features how it works and what it provides with. but still thanks for basic review.
They literally decided to take all the good things about the 10's, and made a boring generic big size smartphone with no unique features and ugly design that no one will ever choose over Samsung, Apple or Google.
software support is nice to have but doesnt break your phone. can easely still use it for years in a save way. emphasizes on that i do understand it but its a bit too harsh a judgement. but maybe also because im a sony user hahahaha
Asus has now targeted mass customer rather than Asus customer. This design, this size will surely gain them more market customer than of those who are the true and tide fans of Asus.
The smallest type was better🙂I had the zenfone 9 and waited for 11 and now they made it larger than normal phone. Fucking disgusting. Shame on Zenfone 11.i thought zenfone would be only compact size and now they made it worse than others.
Terrible design, big as 90% of chinese phones. They should keep 5.8" from Zenfone 10, make frames thinner, add telephoto and snapdragon 8 gen 3 and that's all. I would buy a 16/256 version but it seems tha I need to stay with Samsung - S24 looks better and still is a compact model
Quite disappointed. Really dislike the design and the size. The Ultra may indicate there will be a normal one with a smaller frame, but it looks like the Zenfone 10 will be my last Asus phone.
I would say if you compare sales of 10 and 11 for 1 year each of the release date I would say 11 can't beat sales of 10 Period! but you can tell its not so blah blah but its the bitter truth because the zenphone had speciality for buying that but now why will people go for asus they will go for better selling smartphones !
Zenfone 10 was very good.. and the small form factor was brilliant
Boring and uninspired. Zenfone 10 was much more interesting
It doesn’t matter
it doesnt matter since you not going to buy
Zenfone10 was classy. The new one looks like a $300 mediatek budget phone.
So long as the phone works and apps work who cares on the design
The price is a win, so it's absolutely balanced with the boring and uninspired I would describe this with simplicity has a price to but effectively good.
Was hoping for a compact release. Good thing base s24 is doing really good.
The s24 and s24+ ate actually killing the competition this year as baseline models 🔥👌🏽 very nicely done... ultra models are kinda losing value for money now
Asus should come to India. Especially 10! I miss the small phone factor.
True.purchased Asus zenfone 8 two years ago when it launched in India, still use it everyday and I would definitely buy zenfone 10 if it’s launched at attractive price.
I have Asus zen 8 flip@@dhruvtrivedi7689

True
Yeaa I like it so much
ZenROG phone
I like my Zenfone 9 because it's a compact flagship. It's too bad there are no more compact flagship phones.
S24 does exist
Idk but this phone looked like a toy 😂
Zenfone 10
iPhone 15 Pro is a joke to you?
xiaomi 13/14 🫡
Great unboxing and hand on review as always Ramadan Mubarak brother
Ramadan Mubarak brother 🏮🎉🎊
Ramadan Mubarak 🌜
U back brother. Love you
I've always been here :)
I wish that they just improved the design from the zenfone 10 and released a bigger verison for zenfone 11 ultra they stay true to the compact line
Men I would just say, Zenfone killed their identity.
I mean its a great phone but its one among the herd. Unlike 10 & 9, really standing out
Is camera performance the same on both Rog phone 8 and zenphone 11 ultra ?
Another great video Saf...
Thank you

That 2 years updates is a deal breaker, phones are meant to last. This may be ok with low and med phones, but flagahips, not a smart move
The design is without a doubt worse compare to Zenfone 10. Asus lost touch with reality and the customers will leave them since there is no discernable difference with competing brands
They can stick to making gaming hardware with their rog phones and computers
The only diferencials: 6 Axis on the main camera and headphone jack. Otherwise, the Xiaomi 14 is better in everything for the same price.
The design doesn't scream the word premium at all. It looks like a budget phone.
Watching this on my Zenfone 8 Flip
me too. miss the flip camera
love From Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩💝🖤
Is the video quality and stabilizer good enough for video content creation? It looks good and will be even better on gimbal.
Awesome, still enjoy my Zenfone 9, will use it to end of security updates, so 4 years. Nothing it cant do. Spare phone is a Pixel 5 5G again for the size and security updates ended Nov 23
If Zenfone 11 Ultra has no charging adapter but 65w ROG adapter is compatible to Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra with hypercharge
Here's my idea: most people like small phones bc they're more dailiable but the problem is they're too expensive and wn u'r paying that much, u r expecting all the features and battery life and wtnot. I hope they come out with a small form factor version too. This just feels like a ROG Phone Stealth
About to buy an ASUS ROG 8 Pro Edition and along comes this...

Good phone, but it should've been priced around 600-700$
Asus must come to India, I am missing the brand. 😭😭😭

Nonsense
Wow, the stabilizer was awesome
Asus lost me innthe 2 years update. I will go oneplus 12.
hoping the comeback to India soon, miss Asus ,
Love your video's from 🇨🇳india
2 years of OS update and 4 year security is ideal in current tech environment to evolve.

Wonder if they will allow bootlosder unlocking after deleting it from the old zenfone 9 and 10
What would you chose between this and honor magic 6 pro?
I'd take the Honor over this any day
I will stick with my Note 9 launch edition till they get rid of the punch out on the screen. I rather have no front cam then this bad solution. I would consider buying it without the hole.
Zenfone should come to India. Is best
We still get fast charger, case in many Chinies brands phones, like Honor Magic 6 Pro, Magic V2, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Vivo X100 Pro etc.
Small form-factor had little demand, but at least it was a demand and largely void of competition. They went from where they had the market to themselves, to now trying to compete with Xiaomi, Samsung, Apple, Google and everyone else.

Disappointing😢😢
Battery: Big Yes
Size: Manageable
Price: Debatable
OS update: 😑
Design: vomit
OS update: 👎🤢🤮
Love from India, Kerala
നമസ്കാരം 😌✌🏻
Asus should be ashamed to release such a flagship at this price point with only 2 major Android updates 🤦🤷🙅
is it going to launch in India
security updates should go forever from google. android major updates can be two major updates as phone gets slower after every update until it start lagging. so its a good sign. love tho see jack port, cuz this is still important. that spanish was pretty dope for an AI translator
They literally decided to take all the good things about the 10's, and made a boring generic big size smartphone with no unique features and ugly design that no one will ever choose over Samsung, Apple or Google.
how about touch sampling rate?
software support is nice to have but doesnt break your phone. can easely still use it for years in a save way. emphasizes on that i do understand it but its a bit too harsh a judgement. but maybe also because im a sony user hahahaha

vs rog phone 8 pro same ?
I fricken hate big phones. I'm never buying a smartphone until I see a small one. I can live just without a phone.
Goodbye Asus after the launch of zenphone11 .customers prefer only higher version of zenphone 10 with the sa😅me compact size is the honest feed back.😮
asus 10 design: 💎
asus 11 "design": 💩
What's the point of buying this phone instead of literally anything else, the whole selling point was a flagship compact.
Do u want to sell the 10?
Still waiting for your Nothing Phone (2a) review
Didn't have time for an in depth review but have covered it on the Podcast channel.... th-cam.com/video/bywG9AceTUY/w-d-xo.html
The camera position seems off, just like zenfone 8
Full HD for a flagship phone, Im dead.
A phone with a fucking headphone jack?? Let me spatula my goddamn jaw off the floor and finally stop saving up for a DAC that runs android
Blue. ❤
Who is designing this 11 ultra
Software update is short only 2 years
In 2024, not having a translator on your phone that doesn't support Arabic is poor marketing imo.
ZenFone 10 wins !
Phone looks nice
you uploaded so fast😅
The smallest type was better🙂I had the zenfone 9 and waited for 11 and now they made it larger than normal phone. Fucking disgusting. Shame on Zenfone 11.i thought zenfone would be only compact size and now they made it worse than others.
Verdure Green?
GOAT FLAGSHIP PHONE IN 2024 FOR A REASON!!! asuS!!!!!!
SuperSaaf 😃
I mean that's just a rebrand of ROG 8, isn't it? Thumbs down for the phone.
Why does the rear design look like a hotel mirror or bathroom tiling? This does not look like an "Ultra" device
So smallest flagship phone is now S24?
No Xiaomi 14... SD8 Gen 3 and way more beautiful than the S24 (23-22-21)
Xiaomi is 6.36" and there is no US version so it's missing some major bands.@@maxoo._
i hope Asus sell their phone in India
I want a flip version!!!!
Tech video is not cinema, 30 fps video is not for me.
What a bummer of design...
Did someone give you a black eye or something?
design is bland, looks so cheap but the device is a beast
So the rumours its say zenfone 10 was the last zenfone asus manufactured is totally a crap
Why other brand keep copying samsung..Xiomi has their ultra ..and this one also named ultra
Quite disappointed. Really dislike the design and the size. The Ultra may indicate there will be a normal one with a smaller frame, but it looks like the Zenfone 10 will be my last Asus phone.
Nice video
Thank you
Did Asus really just copy and paste every single ai features from google and samsung 😂 anyways saf whens the full review on the s24 ultra
the designers of this phone should be fired😂
Looks cheap
This > Samsung anything these days
Give us a charger, darn it. I want my money worth the buying, this bs need to stop
Even a weaker performing samsung a55 has longer software support of up to 4 years
I would say if you compare sales of 10 and 11 for 1 year each of the release date I would say 11 can't beat sales of 10 Period!
but you can tell its not so blah blah but its the bitter truth because the zenphone had speciality for buying that but now why will people go for asus they will go for better selling smartphones !
I personally do not like the cameras on the 11
Now Zenfone look doesn't make sense anymore
