surfing a slab is definitely on my bucket list, so far ive only surfed beach breaks so itll be so cool to have the consistency of a slab, hopefully the entry isnt that sketchy though. awesome video :) 🤙🏼

LA at Avalon. your mates wont like showing on youtube. I was one of only a few guys who started riding there in late 60,s early 70,s We lived at 4 Surfside which is above and overlooks the break. old house is gone but memories remain.
I always wonder If people living really close to a break don't actively appreciate their luck? Do you? I have to drive 3 hours to the ocean and the waves there are everything but clean (north sea). Whenever I tell my friends I'd love to live closer to the ocean they say I d get used to it and I'm really wondering if that's even remotely possible. Create videos man! Would love to see more behind the scenes as well :)

So I’m obviously extremely grateful for where I’ve grown up. I’d say yes I do ‘actively appreciate my luck’ but the feeling I’m sure would be different if I was in your situation… 3 hours from the beach. But it’s not like I’m constantly thinking about it because it’s always been my reality
