    Make you own postage stamps! Movie props, micronations, art, or just for fun :)
    No need for an expensive Rosback or a fabled Whizbang perforator. This method will cost you less than 5 dollars, and you can even control the spacing of the perforations with the sewing machine controls.

    the key is to use the sheets of cardstock as he explains, I had tried this before and it impossible to punch straight lines with just 1 sheet of paper.

    Excellent idea. Question: If it punches out tiny holes does that mean they fall into the bobbin area of the sewing machine or do the pieces get stuck in the tubing?

  • @ThePeaceableKingdom
    @ThePeaceableKingdom 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very clever. I could see where it was going with the brass tubing, but I wouldn't have thought of using a sewing machine!

    Where do the punched out bits go? Into the machine?

    Wonder what happens if we use a woollen (thick) needle instead. Great idea by the way

    • @hakonsoreide
      @hakonsoreide 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      what happens is you make a hole without removing the paper, so you basically just get a small hole-sized tear and it will not look like a stamp perforation.

    It will easily be detected if any-one thinks that such a technique will create a fake rare stamp; the perforations of sought after stamps are easily identified.

    Just out of curiosity, when you say that this method cuts out tiny little circles instead of just punching holes, what's the difference between the two?

    • @mosipd
      @mosipd 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      jada norton I suppose I was being a tad sarcastic in my original comment, as I think "cutting tiny holes" in this situation is really just cleanly punching holes through paper. No doubt that the end result looks very good either way.

    maybe I will find it usefull if YOU ANSWER THE QUESTION!

    Well it is my opinion that this is not useful in my eyes, its a good idea HOW to do it right, but I did not disliked it.
    I did not disliked it because of the idea itself.
    You offending me, because you are not agree with my opinion?
    Rediculous, wake up its 2013!
