I put fencing between each tree so when I harvest fruit it will never fall between the trees.

I have a four star island that I didn’t time skip for and it’s something I’m proud of. Just sort of incomplete. The only thing is if I do get chosen I’ll probably fully change it later.
Also really glad you make these videos even though my island is full of furniture and stuff little things help me out!

Is there an optimal number of trees for a 5 star island? Isabelle says I have too many, but a lot of my bells come from selling fruit.
redfoxdog1 220 is the max amount, i’m in the same position as you very stressful lol
If you have over 170 isabelle won’t like it
Norby you need between 190 and 220 x
Luckily for my orchard it will only be 25 trees, and 170 is a pretty high number for trees so I think I’m good
I made my orchard the same way you did. The only issue is it’s really hard to pick up the fruit, Wood, and branches
Mini golf course there is a print out there. It’s a good way to use funky stuff you have no use for.

I made an orchard 2 days ago then got the last two fruits I needed yesterday, I only did 5 trees per fruit for mine because I honestly don’t have room for more. the fence I used was the red iron fence, and the path I used was regular dirt path, quite happy overall on how the orchard came out

I had only palm trees and got a 5 star island with item spam on places to move the rocks. Not many trees still allow a 5 star island.
How do you get so much space in your storage?

i just made this orchard same dimensions and all but it doesn't fit in the spot i put it :( it took so long to move all the trees and set up everything so i'm not moving it now but dang i wish it fit

It was an Easter balloon. Sorry I’m sure you know that by now lol.
Can you make a spacing video? On how you measured the width of each row? Or can you hmu on discord?
Path horizontally before setting everything up vertically, you really just need to get a feel for it, but I did two tiles of wood path in between each tile of dirt personally.
How many spaces did you do between each row?
You have to have two spaces for the tree to fully grow, then one after it’s grown. So start them from “seed” with two spaces then transplant them into your orchard with one square in between to save space.

For an orchard, do fruit trees need to be planted in vertical rows? I planted mine in horizontal rows but some of them aren’t growing. There’s a whole row that isn’t growing...
They have to be two spaces apart on each side if a sapling. OR one space on each side if it’s already a blooming tree

Sometimes they don't grow when they're planted to closely together. What you can do is eat fruit and transfer fully grown trees in the his layout.
Yeah trees won’t grow unless they have two gaps between them.
