Hi HP, I have an HP probook 450g7 i5 10th generation. I want to upgrade the ram for the device. I don't know how many GB of ram this device can support. I went to a store and said the maximum ram was 16gb (2x8gb ram), but when I went somewhere else they said the maximum ram was 32gb (2x16gb ram). Thank you HP for your support.

+TheRealZexAlex The top cover with keyboard remains after removing all other spare parts from the computer.
Search for "hp Probook 450 G7 Keyboard Replacement" to see how difficult it is. Doing it like this is 50% cheaper if you can even find the top cover for a non US unit online.
This is my last HP laptop. No need to make it so hard to replace something.

Hello, I am trying to replace the 8GB Micron 3200MHz in the right slot with 1 x 16GB Kingston 2667MHz. The system does not boot. I cannot upgrade my system to 2 x 16GB Kingston 2667MHz. There are 2 ways to upgrade:
1. Keep the 8GB Micron 3200MHz in the right slot and 1 x 16GB Kingston 2667MHz in the left slot.
2. Keep the right slot empty and 1 x 16GB Kingston 2667MHz in the left slot.
If I switch the 16GB memory card from the left slot to the right slot, the system does not boot.
Is there a setup to make the right slot to recognize another memory card?

+Abdur Rahman Probook 450 G7 may have an internal SIM card slot ONLY IF it has been built to support a LTE card. MUST clearly require a WWAN LTE card installed in the unit. Then you have to open the bottom cover in order to install the SIM.
So i cant clean the keyboard without removing everything else first ?!
my brother dropped cola on it , and many letters are hard to press , so i really to clean under them , please let me know how .
(I live in 3rd world country , small city , no access to HP stores for repairs )

@@HPSupport That's a G4 you linked to. This is a G7 and TOTALLY different. HP really should make a video showing how ridiculously difficult they have made it just to replace a simple keyboard.

Replacement of keyboard on Probook G2/G3/G4 was 3 minute job.... why is it such a chore on later models??
