    Have to say HP. This is absolutely fantastic video. You guys set the standard for laptop serviceability. Will defiantly purchase HP again!. Love my Spectre!

    Does this repair manual apply to x360-aw2004 also? I need to replace the keyboard and wondering if it has plastic rivets or screwed to the body?.

    How do I replace the RAM on HP Spectre x360 Convertible Model: 13-aw0118TU, the reason being all the BSOD are pointing to the RAM..

    When i replace m.2 ssd, i will disconnect battery, but why i should disconnect wan module?

    I sent my Spectre 360 for repair last year when it was under warranty. I just realize that there is a big gap at the bottom cover and my touchpad is making an annoying noise. I don't enjoy my $2000 laptop anymore. Normally, I had to get a replacement device, because when I got the device it was already defective and they made it worse.

      just had my laptop serviced due to a swollen battery. Cracked the bottom cover open, touchpad etc, all were damaged. Got the machine back a day after the warranty was over (after 3+ weeks in service), just to realize one of the fans is not working now... Happy HP days. First and last HP ever, there is plenty of choice in the 2K market.

      exact same problem, realized the gap on the bottom (trackpad side) is partly due to the design not having screws near the center; can live with it but quite annoying

    Hello , i have HP Envy X360 and getting blank screen when starting problem ...i did Bios update , but had to do it again after 2 days ...and that slowed down the Laptop performance .

      +Minh Trung Trần Cao HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

      Webcam ribbon cable was loose it seems, just pressed it more and working now. Thanks to this video end to my 3 months worry.

      Despite the HP Support advice above, I have a Spectre 13-aw2025na & have swapped out the 1TB SSD for a 4TB SSD, & it works a treat. Doesn't seem to be limited to 1TB.

    hi, can i use the laptop without a battery installed?? just direct power cord ? or can i just unplug the cable connected from battery to motherboard? and bypass the battery?

      +xpooz Yes you can. In fact, it is recommended to remove the battery if the laptop is connected to power all of the time.

      @@HPSupport I've been told it's a jumper, just need to know where it is on the board. Getting that HP logo error on my Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop - 15t-eb000 touch , and cannot get back in; regardless of what I try. Resetting CMOS using Windows+B, or V, doesn't help. Getting a Checksum error in BIOS. Updated BIOS from F6 to F12, still won't let me in. Recovery option just revolves back to the main menu. And no option for Safe Boot. Created a Windows repair/reinstall thumb drive, and PC will boot to drive, but it will not repair, or allow for re-installation. Only thing I can think of to do, is open it up, remove the main battery, and locate the jumper. Can't get a response from HP tech support. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks for your response.
