    Of all the traditional Tibetan tantric practices, the art of painting with colored sand is one of the most unique and exquisite. In Tibetan language, this art is called dul-tson-kyil-khor, which literally means "mandala of colored powders." Stay Cosmic ...

    Wow. Destroying the work, symbolizing the impermanence of life. That is something of incredible beauty and genius

    2: It's just as life is. We will die, but we can record some moments of our lives for the benefit of others.
    I can get your point but I give you this one for your consideration. Just in case you hadn't thought about it.

    What you don't know is that they're not actually leaning, they're floating. Also, they're not walking, they're trained to run so fast they look like they're moving slow. Discipline.

    This was one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. It actually makes me consider becoming a Buddhist.

    2 Things:
    1: Buddhist Monks give 0 fucks
    2: Doesn't capturing this moment on film defeat the whole purpose of destroying the mandala immediately after? I say; no video, pictures, or any record of it happening. THEN destroy it. That would be tough. How tough can it be to destroy it when immediately after you can just watch the video documentary on its creation?
    3: Still cool, despite my pessimistic comment. Good job Monks!

    Why not build a mandala cake and destroy it by eating it

  • @Oferdrincere
    @Oferdrincere 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    1. they do make them and immediately destroy them without any pictures or recording of them
    2. the purpose of the video (which escaped you) was to show that they create mandala's and destroy them
    3. not all of them are made to be destroyed right after wards.
    p.s. i can count and u can't :)
