That looks like orange slice bread my mom always made at Christmas. We would toast it with butter. I think hers has brown sugar instead because it’s a tint brown. Love ya Talli Faye!

And my grandpa's old riveted fish filet knife that has a grove in it it was used so much and his shaving bowl and lather brush. My dads old pocket watch! I treasure it all! And more! ❤
Apricots are my favorite for cobblers and fried pies. I can't wait to make this apricot bread. My granny used to make the best fried pies with apricots, and they were my favorite. How would you make an apricot fried pie? Would you use fresh peaches or dried peaches? By the way, I have great memories of my Granny's dishes and everything about my Granny's. I shredded my leftover rotisserie chicken I got two days ago, and I used Rotel instead of pimentos and red bell pepper instead of green because that's what I had (right? 😉), otherwise I did it EXACTLY like you did, and oh my goodness, it was SOOO GOOD!! And I have enough left for the next 2-3 days. Also shared some with my neighbor. So I just wanted to say thank you so much for that recipe and God Bless you!! 😋🙏❤

You can definitely swap out any dried fruit and nut of your preference, and add more milk,instead of juice. Yummy.
