A very nice example of a HO unusual to see electric blue with saddle tan trim most were black.I used to own a genuine JG33 XY GT with 4speed toploader nugget gold with black trim they were the toughest car around the GT got app 16 MPG in stock form the GTHO got around 8 MPG but had a guzzling 780 Holly carb. A 350 chev HQ monaro wont get near a GTHO there is nothing like the sound of that Cleveland engine up around 7000 RPM

@Antifaith29 No, but they were going to put the 318 CI, in them to keep up with the V8's, same with the XU1, they were going for a 308, but too much mod's, back then, the car you brought from the dealer's was what they raced, with a little mod's, like roll cage, thats it. so, if they had the charger 318, i feel it would have gave the ho a run for it's money, it's a shame, i have been in both, the charger 318 cop car, look it up it's a South Australian Cop car doing a burn out cheers.
It's a real car, with life. Like your own children; You can't prefer one, over the others. Holden and Ford (Australia) made the best cars ever. Mention to Chrysler (Australia) for the superb Charger and their straight 8's as well.
Sorry mate to burst your bubble, but thats not a phase 3, phase 3 have the air scoop on the drivers side of the bonnet, not the shaker in the center, this is most likely a phase 1 or phase 2. And to what BMW said (bellow) SLR5000 will still be more expensive than a xr6 or xr6 turbo any day, and they are allot nicer too.
Also at 0.28 look at the XB / Fairlane Mirror on the drivers side, so it's a mock up, but nice anyway, also anyone that has a HO will not show plates or ID tags, because they can steal anything thesedays & with the net & HO's going for what $500,000 in original Cond, well boy's let's get to work. Ha Ha.

Sadly, this is as close as I'll ever get to driving a Phase III. Oh what a glorious beast.
This the fix I need till I get my XY on the road. I cant help but smile everytime you gun that engine and the rumble becomes pure bliss.
