Yes it's a very busy street, being in a semi industrial area. Ned the owner of the business probably knows this street better than anyone. He builds some impressive engines for us here in Australia, he basically woke the car up
A far superior sound to the modern day 6cyl Falcons & Bogandore’s with extractors. And don’t get me started on turbo charged rice grinders with the farty sounding exhaust note.
Thanks for commenting, yes at that time the car had a H-pipe it now has an x-pipe system, its a dramatic improvement on performance, i was trying to get rid of the clapping sound. Seems to have worked. Tell me what you think in my last video you can hear the difference in sound
Starlight GT still sounds tough with a nice choppy idle too. Any idea on horsepower? I’m doing an AFR headed Windsor for my 66 mustang with performer rpm intake but haven’t decided on a cam yet.
1st thing. What a bastards of a driveway to turn out of. 2nd. Your eyeswould have been darting everywhere to check for cars pulling out. What a beast.

The sound I grew up with
Damn, picked the only street around with TWO reversing trucks..😔
Beautiful car making eargasms 🤗🤗🤤🤤🤤
Awesome mate she sounds sweet. I'm just about to buy 2 XWs will make one complete car out of them. Let the games begin.
Good luck with the build, thanks for watching
@@Starlight_GT thanks mate
What a beast this was the best part of the Australia car industry I always believed the Winsdor was a better motor then the Cleveland.
Thanks brother, I appreciate the kind words , yeah I've always liked the Windsor that note that it delivers
The windsor had much better throttle response.the phase 1 was the quickest on the quarter out of all the gt,s
lovely car mate ive seen this beast drive around
Where abouts
That's a sweet noise you got there👍👍
Thankyou for your comment
That sounds amazing
Awesome car, awesome sound, love it.
Ned is the best mechanic out there. What a champion. The car sounds great
Thanks Simon, yes Ned is an excellent mechanic and what makes him even better is he's from Bkerkasha

Music to the ears
If you drive all the old gt,s the one that has the best throttre responce is the xwgtho phase 1
Xws are my favourite 😍
Mine too, thanks for watching 👀
Stunning exhaust note, real crisp. Does the exhaust system have an H-pipe?

Beauty
So nice
Thankyou 🤙
You can choose for one of the above gifts
Excellent
Thankyou
Pretty bloody cool
Is this a standard GT engine or a performance build? Best colour the XW came out in too👍
It's a very mild bottom end the top has dart heads, roller rockers, edelbrock performer manifold, Holley 650 dp, Howard cam
Starlight GT still sounds tough with a nice choppy idle too. Any idea on horsepower? I’m doing an AFR headed Windsor for my 66 mustang with performer rpm intake but haven’t decided on a cam yet.
@@stevegrindle2277 similar combination in my mates car got 440 horsepower
Starlight GT nice!
Beast
wow
Banger
Great looking car mate, are you happy with how it goes?
Yeah im happy with how it drives. For me it's more than enough power and performance, I would rather a great sounding car then ball tearing speeds
Love it
Shit I thought the 351 was Cleveland only. I had a xt gt 1969 , candy apple red 302 Windsor about 30 years ago. Windsor are great
Windsors sound better 😉
xw gtho phase 2 was when 351 cleveland came into it!
candy apple mmm sounds like she looked a bewdy 👍
jaz panoz yeah. I’m hoping to get one again. XR or XT GT or XW . Fairmont or GS be great
The windsors sound better and they actually go better too.The 4v clevelands are no good for the street
Traffic was annoying
This isnt the xw that got ripped apart recently is it?
No, that one was in Adelaide
Hey what’s the colour? Is it an XW original colour?
Starlight blue is an original factory colour that came out on the xw, hence my channel name and the colour of the car thanks for watching
fwaaaaakkk
Not a young driver but yet he thinks he is Allan MOFFAT drag racing in a suburban street.
" chick magnet 🧲 ❤️ " ( i had one ! )
