A former costume designer from Normandy, France, Lucas moved to Britain during the pandemic. Using his design expertise, he transformed his 1820s flat into a captivating home that blends history with modern flair. Instead of renovating completely, he convinced the previous owner to preserve the flat's inherent charm, creating a harmonious blend of Continental and British influences.
Adorned with 17th-century Italian paintings, salvaged parquet flooring, and an antique tapestry depicting a scene from Don Quixote, every corner of Lucas's flat tells a story. His clever storage solutions and love for historical objects, like an antique china tea set, showcase his unique style. This is not really my cup of tea but I love and respect how he found his style and stuck to it beautifully and with class because there's often a lot mish match confusion we see on here.
