- Renowned interior designer Philip Vergeylen invites us into the London apartment he has shared with his partner, Paolo Moschino, for 20 years.
Since 2003, Philip and Paolo have continually transformed their dynamic home, which reflects their love for elegant and refined interior design. The apartment features diverse collections, magnificent paneling, playful mirrors, and a striking contrast of vibrant hues and soft creams, blending modern elements with timeless antiques.
Paolo Moschino Ltd, established in 1995 by Paolo, became a joint venture when Philip joined the company 12 years ago. Paolo manages the showrooms and product collections, while Philip oversees the Design Studio, handling residential, hospitality, and commercial projects worldwide.

@@kismit100 Beige, cream, white, tan, grey and brown. Yes, those are all neutral colours. You may benefit from googling what neutral colours are. There is a tiny bit of a dusky blue placed in each room so perhaps that’s why you have dismissed the decor of comprising of predominantly neutral colours.

I love him!! Truly, most designers will have a large stash of items. We tend to naturally hoard because we know we will use it someday or for a client. I once read, " it is not hoarding if your stuff is cool ". 😊 We do tend to be maximalist.
Marvelous decor, so rich in cultures, textures, art and beautiful objects. The parties must be just divine, and spicy enough to get a laugh or two. I cannot stand bright or overhead lighting as well. ✨✨

I walked past their shop near sloane sqaure many times at the weekends when it's shut. Must visit them during my day off. I love what he said about content is much more profound than happiness. I have the same thought!
I absolutely LOVED this; the way it is so thoughtfully decorated and then re-decorated when you feel like there needs to be a slight changing. But also the fact that it feels and looks comfortable and is decorated with the things that are liked/loved. It may not be for everyone, but I love it. Homes that show character- to me, are the best! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING!

I had a stroke of luck with finding a couple of paintings at an Autojumble would you believe by an associate of Cocteau , Eduoard Dermit ( for nothing they were being thrown in a skip from a stall that had no idea 😊) on the back each had , in pencil , an address attributed to Jean C, one in Paris and Santa Sospir which was a villa of his I believe , anyway beautiful place !
