I just bought a 258k Peugeot partner. The expansion bottle isnt getting warm? Its not overheating yet! Im going to have to get it fixed. Any videos on flushing or any tips? Cheers
Hi and thanks for your comment, it sounds like your thermostat, if you check out my other videos there's one on how to do a full engine flush, then would be a good time to change the thermostat at the same time 😊
At last a proper simple explanation on TH-cam thanks mate, I'll order a new cap today 👍
You are very welcome 🤗, and thank you so much for your comment, hope this works for you as it did for me ☺️👍🏼
Great video, I'm losing antifreeze/coolant ever so slightly (couple of mill every week or so), and ive noticed a wet patch on ground just behind drivers side front wheel (UK RHD), where you seeing the same????
Thanks for your comment 😊, no unfortunately not, you may just be seeing the air con draining as this would be normal. The best advice I can give you is turn your air con off , remove your undertray, and drive up some ramps (or stacked planks of wood) once the cars up to temperature inspect under the car and see if you can see any leaks with the engine running. If you can't you may have a pin hole in your radiator if so, try rad weld 😊, hope this helps
Been smelling a faint smell of coolant lately. Just ordered the upgraded cap. Fingers crossed.
Hiya, thanks for your comment, always worth a try as a 1st step since the cap costs so little , good luck 🤞🏼😊
Tell me one thing that tube from the fluid tank to the radiator is stock one or is it replaced? Looks different from mine also that expansion tank on the diesel doesn't have a coolant level sensor?
Hey 👋🏻, yes your right the diesel doesn't have a fluid sensor, good old fashioned check it manually 😁
@@CarFlix. Good thing to not break eheh
I've had this warning come up a few times, last one was last week while on a long journey, I'll defo try it with a new cap. Keep up the great vids...
Thanks so much for your comment 🙂, I'm glad it helped you, please let me know if it did the trick , again thanks so much for your support 🙏🏼
did it fix your problem?
@@KoRtExXx it did fix it for a while, but for some reason the coolant is been sucked down by a vacum and the warning comes up, but soon as you unscrew the cap it shoots back up and the warning stops, no idea whats causing it to do that...
@@maddog255i have the same problem and changed the thermostat, which didn't helped out. What was your solution?
@@westfale1 Tbh it worked for a while but it will still come up now and then, then I have to open the bonnet and release the cap slowly till the coolent shoots back up, no idea why it does it...
was just noticing this on my car today XD, thanks for the video m8.
Hi 👋🏼, no problem at all my pleasure , thanks so much for your comment and good luck ☺️
