This is such a fantastic and creative concept in general. She and Superman share a strong bond over their shared sense of morality and justice. Flash (Rebirth Comics) My Flash from the Rebirth comics brings optimism and humor, deeply committed to his role. His quick thinking and speed are crucial in crises. Green Lantern/Hal Jordan (DCAMU) Hal Jordan from the DCAMU is confident and sometimes impulsive. His bravery is crucial during large-scale threats, but his occasional recklessness might cause friction with Batman. However, his friendship with Flash is strong, providing a lighter, more relaxed dynamic within the team. Cyborg (Teen Titans 2003) My Cyborg from Teen Titans 2003 is a mix of strength, intelligence, and heart. As the tech expert and moral center, he helps foster unity among the team members. His upbeat personality bridges gaps between lighter and darker characters, creating a strong bond with Flash and earning respect from Batman and Wonder Woman. My idea of Justice League: Superman: Flashpoint version.Essentially a glass cannon that prefers to resolve things peacefully; The Flash:Jay Garrick from the Flash live action Tv show; Green Lantern:Guy Gardner in his Red Lantern phase.A man of anger that contros it with his own willpower; Wonder Woman: Justice Society World war 2 animated movie.Bassically her and Jay come out of retirement; Batman:His Batman the Brave and the bold version. He's just my favorite. Elongated Man instead of Martian Manhunter and is the Flash live action iteration; The Enchantres(the one token villain teammate): Injustice 2 version, but June is more in control of things.
Who would be your Justice League Europe (JLE)? The team needs 7 members, a clear leader or trinity, and a good balance of male and female heroes. You can do multiple teams if you want, and England does count in this version of Europe despite the break off in real life.
Superman x Zatanna also makes sense in the wider context of the history of the DC universe; Superman and Zee's father co-starred with each other in Action Comics #1, so there's a metatextual justification for the pairing. I also would love if Clark and Zee knew each other during Clark's teen years, with the added benefit that HE is the one with history with Zee and NOT Bruce. I do not have a problem with the main LLxCK pairing, but I do think that a more professional, then later platonic friendship between the two in your iteration would work wonders, maybe as a way to nod to their classic romance while still mixing up and reinterpretating their relationship to a newer audience, though it might ruffle some feathers. I feel like Superman: Earth One is the only story that went down this route, though it might just be that I haven't read enough comic books.
My justice league would have pre 52Jay Garrick, New 52 Batman, Kingdomcome Superman, New52 Wild Cat, New Earth Guy Gardener, prime earth Jason Todd, New earth Firestorm , and New Earth Aqua Man
If Doctor Doom was in the DC Universe, who would be his main antagonist? And if Lex Luthor was in the Marvel Universe, who would be his main antagonist?
I've also always been weird. I was 12 years old in 1969, knew about Jim Shooter who hadn't been much older when he started, and I entered a DC Contest which was Create a Hero! My favorite Comic at the time was Legion of Super Heroes, and I came up with the idea of a Justice League of the United Planets! They apply to the Legion, but they are rejected because they are adults. So they decide to form their own Team based on the Justice League! I came up with a Team; Questar: a half Kryptonian, half Daxxamite. As such he has the abilities of Superman but he is invulnerable to both Kryptonite and Lead. Wonder Woman of the 30th Century; the many times Great Granddaughter of the original Wonder Woman Emerald; because it had been stated in a letter column that Green Lanterns weren't allowed on Earth, I came up with a Green Skined blonde haired 6' tall Alien woman who supposedly had a wand with Green Lantern powers. Actually, the power was within her. Since she had the power, but wasn't a Green Lantern, she could stay. Rubber Man; my worst name. Hey, I was 12. A professor rediscovers the formula that made Plastic Man, and reinforces it with the Elongated man, making him even stretchier. And, he could change colors which Plastic Man couldn't. Condor; a throwback Thanagarian who could grow his own wings and morph his hands and feet into super steel razor sharp talons. I was thinking he would grab Criminals with his feet. Night Runner; I had read about Jesse Owens, there were no true Speedsters, and I was partly inspired by the Tornado Twins. I had a Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Plastic/Elongated Man, and a Hawkman. So a Flash seemed to be the best way to round out a team. I obviously didn't win. All I received from DC was subscription offers. But it was a Justice League of sorts. And I thought it was pretty good for a 12 year old.
I am more of a casual fan, so my take is probably not the ideal team. Superman blend Superman from Justice League War with Superman vs Meshi Wonder Woman from Justice League War and the New 52 or Modern version with a hint of the idealism and anger issues from the JL cartoon You sold me on the Flash (Not hard, my favorite Justice League member) Martian Manhunter from the cartoon as a basis, but I want him fleshed out more and explore how OP he can be Batman is tricky, I grew up with 3 very distinctly different iterations of Batman. So I am unsure. Don't know enough about Green Lanterns, either is fine. I think Zatanna over Aquaman is a solid and fun option, he feels the most interchangable
This is a really interesting question to answer. I don’t know as many different versions of the characters as you do, but this is my best attempt. You went with the ideal version of each character, I’m going the opposite direction and trying to be as off the wall as I can. *Superman* I’m gonna go with the Flashpoint Paradox Superman. The idea of a Superman who’s malnourished and been isolated from the world all his life is really interesting to me. He would still be one of the heavy hitters on the League, but the other Leaguers would have to be really thoughtful in how they utilize him, kind of like a very timid version of The Hulk. *Batman* I’m gonna go with the Matt Reeves Batman. His movie was focused on him learning he needs to be a symbol of hope instead of fear, so joining a team of heroes would be a step in that direction. Also, the Reeves Batman has faced relatively grounded problems compared to other Batmen, so dealing with heroes and villains who have powers would be a new challenge for him. *Wonder Woman* I feel limited with Wonder Woman because I don’t know many different versions of her, and the ones I do are fairly similar to each other. My best pick would be from Justice League: War. This version put focus on how she was naive to how the modern world works and behaves awkwardly as a result, which means there would be a learning curve for her to work with the rest of the League. Besides that, I’d like any version of Wonder Woman that’s a little dark. Kind of like Injustice Wonder Woman, but more reigned in and not as straight up villainous. *Flash and Green Lantern* For Flash and Green Lantern, I *am* gonna go with their Injustice versions. They both worked for an oppressive government, believing it was the right thing to do, and eventually saw the error in their ways. In this continuity, Superman wouldn’t be the dictator they work for, but we could have Green Lantern defect to Sinestro and back, while Flash could be an enforcer for the U.S Government. Whatever they did, they now see their actions as wrong, and joined the League in an effort to make up for it. *Plastic Man* Plastic Man is my replacement for Martian Manhunter, as they’re both shapeshifters (not saying I want Plastic Man to replace him in the main Justice League, just that he’s better for what I’m doing). You can use any version of Plastic Man, as he’s consistently a reformed criminal, and joining the League would be his first bout into heroism. *Hawkgirl* I’m including JLU Hawkgirl. She betrayed the Earth to help her home planet invade them, only to turn on her own planet and help defend the Earth. Joining the League would be her way of reearning the Earth’s trust. *Conclusion* My version of the League has a Guardians of the Galaxy or Suicide Squad kind of feel. Every member has a dark past and/or doesn’t have much experience on a team, meaning the main challenge would be from them learning to work together while not only trying to earn each other’s trust, but the trust of the general public. Some alternate picks include any version of John Constantine and any version of Lex Luthor who becomes a hero. I also considered Young Justice Aqualad as a reluctant leader due to being the only member without any baggage and who’s trusted by the public.
I like your picks. I don’t think I would change any of them. You can’t go wrong with DCAU characters because the writing on those shows were perfect. I think as a fun idea you can do the same thing for each superheroes rogues gallery.
I made 4 different Earth's out of variant DC Action Figures. I made 6 in total but my Earth 1 and Earth 2 are Comic Book accurate. My Earth 3 Crime Syndicate, Earth 6 Kingdom Come style, Earth Watchmen, and Earth Created Equal, All Female style, were all built using Alternate versions of characters. On Earth 3 I used Alternate Figures to turn the 7 released Crime Syndicate members into a 13 member Crime Syndicate. And, I used other leftover Figures into making a Young Justice resistance to the Crime Syndicate. On Earth 6, Kingdom Come style, I got as many of the actual Kingdom Come Figures as I could, and then filled out the ranks with other, more Futuristic looking Alternate Figures. Such as Dick Greyson Batman working with Terry McInnis Batman Beyond! There were very few actual Watchmen Figures. Two Minutemen, 5 Watchmen, 2 Comedian, plus ultimate Villain Ozymandis. Again, I had extra Figures, including an extra Hourman and Golden Age Atom with the crest cowl. So, in this Watchmen world, Dr. Manhattan is greatly weakened temporarily because of repairing the damage done to the Earth. But he restores the Minutemen to youth. And other Heroes and Villains have emerged. Including Jor-El. Superman in Kryptonian uniform so in this world I can say that Jor-El was the one sent to Earth. I also had 4 Super Friends Figures with no place to put them. So, Black Vulcan stays a Hero, Samurai, El Dorado, and Golden Pharaoh become Villains. A Lex Luthor joins Ozymandis. Etc Earth 35 was an accidental creation. I used to also own the local Comic Book Store. When the Media Chain Hastings went out of business they called me up and offered me a special 1 hour headstart on their 'Going Out of Business Sale'! I get there and they offer me a further discount if I will take all the DC Female Figures! Now, I had many of these already, but not these particular variants; Arrowverse, Elseworlds, Wonder Woman movie, New 52, Mary Marvel in White costume, and others. I got them for an average of $4 each. So of course I took the deal, sold the Duplicates and made a profit, kept 1 of the others. Wasn't a lot of Villainessess, so I've had to really Fudge. I made a Custom 'Daughter of Kang' for example and gave her a Robot Army. 1. A DC Earth has never heard of Kang so complete surprise. 2. No Male Armies to fight. 3. Enough Super Heroine opposition to make it a challenge, as there's still a Supergirl, Power Girl, Mary Marvel, Donna Troy, Starfire, Wonder Woman and others to fight.
Mine would really be: DCAU Batman mixed in with Arkham Batman and Injustice Batman (All three of them are just simply peak) DCAU Superman mixed in with Superman Up In The Sky DCAU Wonder Woman mixed in with DCAMU Wonder Woman DCAMU Hal Jordan mixed in with modern Hal Jordan Any interpretation of Wally West that isn't Kid Flash can work ngl he's just peak DCAU Martian Manhunter because he's perfectly fine
For me, some combination of MOS Superman (The comic run and film), a fusion of The Batman (2004) Batman and DCAU Batman, DCAU Wonder Woman, Hal Jordan from GL:TAS, DCAU John Stewart, DCAU/YJ Wally as Flash, hook hand Aquaman, DCAU/YJ Martian Manhunter, DCAU/YJ Green Arrow, and the Thanagarian Silver-Age Hawkman and Hawkgirl.
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, John Stewart GL- all Justice league show versions. Yes keep Bats & WW ship. J’onn a mix of that show plus his persona in Supergirl (Him as protective papa bear suits his character tremendously), Flash (any version), & instead of Aquaman… Mera. More magic focused than Aquaman & I just find her more interesting. Zatanna also works but she’s kinda OP lol.
My Justice League is Superman (Superman: Secret Origins Comic), Batman (Arkham Origins game), Wonder Woman (Wonder Woman 2009 Animated Movie), The Flash (Flashpoint Paradox Animated Movie), Aquaman (Justice League Animated Series), Green Lantern (Green Lantern: First Flight Animated Movie), and Martian Manhunter (New Earth Comic)
SUPER hot take: Batman doesn't belong in the Justice League. He's DC's best frontrunning hero, but he doesn't fit the superpowered balance of the other characters. To make them seem comparable, teamups and movies turn Batman into some sort of super strong, super durable action hero who's main powers are explosives and vehicles. In fact, Batman spends a lot of time in vehicles to stay up alongside the likes of Superman, Wonderwoman, or Green Lantern. All of Batman's best stories are when he's in Gotham, fighting street-level crime, against supervillains who have powers (Mr. Freeze, Clayface) but not god powers like Superman or most space villains. Batman is a detective, who solves crime. He isn't at his best fighting space villains, underworld villains, or doomsday-style ultimates.
Nah. While i agree that he doesn't belong in the justice league, i don't think he'll be out of his best against otherworldly threats. Batman Offworld is a good comic that i am really enjoying. Seeing Batman in space is awesome. The whole Gotham thing is boring honestly now. We've seen everything they have to offer. So while i think Batman doesn't fit well with the justice league, I think him by himself can definitely be put in ANY STORY AND IT'LL still be good. There's also nothing wrong with him using explosives or gadgets.
I agree. All of my favorite batman stories and characterization comes from stories that don't feature other league members. That's not to say nothing good comes from him interacting with them, there are great stories of him and superman. But they stand out in a very specific way, and have them play off of each other because of how different they are.
@@kingofhearts3185 I agree! And he's a great asset of a brain for the League, but sometimes it feels strained when they're all together. I don't really mind, but thinking logically, it might make more sense if he had more of a Zatanna relationship with the League; someone with specialties, for him specifically in detective work, to call in to consult.
@@alexkunce2002 I wouldn't even say it needs to be that limited. Coordinating missions and operating the teleporter would also fit, as does the idea of Wayne Enterprises being a major league backer. But him fighting aliens warlords and actual gods is where I draw the line.
@@kingofhearts3185 Better he's not on the team than have him there just to be a chairperson, that's a waste of the character. Just don't have him join the league. It's that simple. But you understand that he's not the only human on the team right? Green arrow, Blue Beetle(ted kord), Mr Terrific are all on the justice league and are human. Why complain about Batman but then conveniently forget this?
The thought of Superman and Zatanna becoming a couple makes me giggle because Superman is weak to magic, but I think it's a very interesting idea. Usually, when Superman is romantically paired with another hero, it's pretty much always Wonder Woman because they're both super strong, so I applaud you for thinking outside the box.
Superman isn’t weak to magic, in the most recent story arc he resists a cosmic spell from bizarro that had the power to overpower Dr fate, zatanna and well, literally everyone on earth.
I was with you until you said Superman and Zantanna. It’s your opinion of course but I heavily disagree. And Superman and Lois has the most functional relationships in all comics. Except for maybe Reed and Sue Richards
If you call 24 years of reading comics & graphic novles from all era's a "new reader" sure, be my guest. I simply don't like it. It's not that big of a deal lol it's just purely preference.
maybe I'm weird but I feel like The Flash should be a woman in the Justice League. I envision an Earth 2 Justice League with a female flash and perhaps a batman without ears called something else.
My justice league doesn't even have batman on it, he's just not a hero. My justice league is a little more radical in a political sense. They're not crime fighters, they fight the system, rulers, billionaires, governments, business owners, landlords, cops, anyone who has or wants hierarchal power over the masses is an automatic target for my justice league. They don't seek to uphold the current status quo or fight against people who want change, because that's what a villain does.
@TheStormbringer8751 A lot of WW fans don't like how the DCAU treated Diana. She doesn't really get to fight a lot of her own villains, and the Zeus/Ares origin takes away from the preferred "made of clay" origin. They also don't like the WonderBat ship for whatever reason.
As much as I love your videos, I strongly disagree about your ideal version on Superman. I think Superman should be the bright and cheery character, not some dark, broody, and depressed character. Leave that stuff to Bruce.
The thing is, I don't see those Supermen as dark or broody. I see those iterations of the characters truthfully handling optimism and hope the best way they can, given their bleak circumstances. I think we often think of "hope" as being a bright exit to a terrible situation but often I think hope is the ability to navigate through hardships with strength and determination.
@@tyrellmultimedia I mean I agree that Superman should be hopeful in dark situations but one thing I’ve never liked about Henry Cavil as Superman is that if Lois dies, he becomes evil. That just doesn’t seem like something he would do.
A Superman Zatanna couple has the potential to produce the most broken Superboy ever. A Kryptonian with a mastery of Magic would be nigh unstoppable.
TRUTH
Superman has enough love interests, let J’onn’s seeming stoicism get melted by Zatanna instead. My guy deserves a little happiness.
That's a good one too!

Emerald; because it had been stated in a letter column that Green Lanterns weren't allowed on Earth, I came up with a Green Skined blonde haired 6' tall Alien woman who supposedly had a wand with Green Lantern powers.
Superman blend Superman from Justice League War with Superman vs Meshi
Wonder Woman from Justice League War and the New 52 or Modern version with a hint of the idealism and anger issues from the JL cartoon
You sold me on the Flash (Not hard, my favorite Justice League member)
Martian Manhunter from the cartoon as a basis, but I want him fleshed out more and explore how OP he can be
Batman is tricky, I grew up with 3 very distinctly different iterations of Batman.
*Superman*
I’m gonna go with the Flashpoint Paradox Superman. The idea of a Superman who’s malnourished and been isolated from the world all his life is really interesting to me. He would still be one of the heavy hitters on the League, but the other Leaguers would have to be really thoughtful in how they utilize him, kind of like a very timid version of The Hulk.
*Batman*
I’m gonna go with the Matt Reeves Batman.
*Wonder Woman*
I feel limited with Wonder Woman because I don’t know many different versions of her, and the ones I do are fairly similar to each other.
*Flash and Green Lantern*
For Flash and Green Lantern, I *am* gonna go with their Injustice versions.
*Plastic Man*
Plastic Man is my replacement for Martian Manhunter, as they’re both shapeshifters (not saying I want Plastic Man to replace him in the main Justice League, just that he’s better for what I’m doing). You can use any version of Plastic Man, as he’s consistently a reformed criminal, and joining the League would be his first bout into heroism.
*Hawkgirl*
I’m including JLU Hawkgirl. She betrayed the Earth to help her home planet invade them, only to turn on her own planet and help defend the Earth. Joining the League would be her way of reearning the Earth’s trust.
*Conclusion*
My version of the League has a Guardians of the Galaxy or Suicide Squad kind of feel.
My team
Superman (Snyderverse)
Batman (Arkhamverse)
Wonder Woman (DCAU)
Flash (Jeremy Adams Run)
Aquaman (Kelly Sue Deconnick Run)
Green Lantern (Geoff Johns Run)
Martian Manhunter (DCAU)
Etc
Earth 35 was an accidental creation.
Now I want to see an avengers version of this video. I'd suggest the original mcu line up, but if you want something else that'd be cool too.
The Silver and Bronze Age Justice League.
Mine would really be:
DCAU Batman mixed in with Arkham Batman and Injustice Batman (All three of them are just simply peak)
DCAU Superman mixed in with Superman Up In The Sky
DCAU Wonder Woman mixed in with DCAMU Wonder Woman
DCAMU Hal Jordan mixed in with modern Hal Jordan
Any interpretation of Wally West that isn't Kid Flash can work ngl he's just peak
DCAU Martian Manhunter because he's perfectly fine
Now dp they opposite, evil versions of these characters, ie injustice supes, Batman who laughs, paralax
Martian Man Hunter is part of JL's big 7 to me. Not Cyborg. That guy sucks.
Make a titans version too!
Nope the second you said ww in a relationship with Batman i couldn't go through with this video anymore dude im sorry..... Lol
Cool. Just because it bugs you so much I'll leave a comment. Batman and Wonder Woman would be the best relationship in DC history 👍🏼
I was with you until you said Superman and Zantanna. It’s your opinion of course but I heavily disagree. And Superman and Lois has the most functional relationships in all comics. Except for maybe Reed and Sue Richards
Superman and Lois is simply not for me. It's boring, cookie cutter and uninspiring. I think Superman deserves more flavour.
@@tyrellmultimedia I'd say anyone who doesn't love superman and Lois's relationship is a new comic reader.
If you call 24 years of reading comics & graphic novles from all era's a "new reader" sure, be my guest. I simply don't like it. It's not that big of a deal lol it's just purely preference.
Hey hey TMM
Hey!
maybe I'm weird but I feel like The Flash should be a woman in the Justice League.
Very controversial. I look forward to seeing the replies.
That's just the Authority you're describing.
@@oofiethetroll2059 Why is that controversial?
@@acrsclspdrcls1365 The authority?
meh it’s ight
Superman and zatana😭 sorry brotha, no
Good thing for you I don't have the keys to DC. Or else, it would be happening.
The wonder woman fans ain't gonna like this one
Why not?
@TheStormbringer8751 A lot of WW fans don't like how the DCAU treated Diana. She doesn't really get to fight a lot of her own villains, and the Zeus/Ares origin takes away from the preferred "made of clay" origin. They also don't like the WonderBat ship for whatever reason.
@@DillonMaynard not true I'm afraid, alot of ww fan love the dcau wonder woman. and only superwonder fans don't like Wonderbat
@jflexy1344 Actually, I only know this because I saw a bunch of WW fans rant about the DCAU a couple months ago
@@DillonMaynard those kinds of people are usually fans of the new 52.
@@tyrellmultimediaI hate that you’re right though
Haha as much as I like to think I'm right in my reasoning I'm not here to gatekeep. If you feel otherwise about Superman all power too you!
@@tyrellmultimedia I mean I agree that Superman should be hopeful in dark situations but one thing I’ve never liked about Henry Cavil as Superman is that if Lois dies, he becomes evil. That just doesn’t seem like something he would do.
