Rainy Day Rescue - Tim's International B-160 Firetruck

- Jess & I braved the rain and mud this past weekend to help our buddy, Tim, extract a low mileage International Harvester B-160 firetruck from the weeds. All in all it went pretty well!
**Bonus content: If you notice the massive leaf springs on Tim's trailer, he and I are always swapping parts and those are to replace at least some of the R-170's busted rear leaf springs. **

Thats a nice fire truck. Wonder if you can retrofit it with some modern fire fighting equipment. Nice driving truck too don't see too many of them any more.
Sitting that long with the parking brake set and she still rolls? That’s a win right there.
Cool to see the old IH 4x4 yank the fire truck sideways on the trailer to center it. I love it when these old trucks are used for real work.

Cab looks pretty solid. I have a 1959 B-120 4x4 same cab. I’m with you I’d take off the fire bed and do something else with it.
Seems like an old truck for foam, unless it was airport or foam was added later. I was laughing about shortening the chain up, I wouldn't have done it in the mud either. Another awesome video from you, only complaint I have is we need more!

Man, you're an absolute ledgend, but that ones a bit far away. Give her some publicity! Make sure she gets a good home. I've talked to you some on BP before. You and Duk are who got me into these body styles(don't tell him, but I'm more partial to the S series lol)
