one with the black, white and stripes fabric wins..........the fabric he chose is very pretty and something of my taste... I am making a bunch of them for my son's 10th b'day party at a pool....I know kids will like it when they get to take them home and a little souvenirs... oh god I can't wait...
Jimmy 1st place because he is standing there looking cute, plus I like the fabric. 2nd Bryan because he promoted his page by asking us to subscribe to it. Then last but not least Zack. But honestly they are all winners because this was their first time ever and they did a great job.
@ERIKA802 Sounds like a great idea! The only parts of the ribbon that will unravel are the ends. SInce one end is inside the placemat you don't have to worry about it. All you have to do is either burn or seal the end that will be exposed on the other end of the ribbon. If you use a polyester ribbon you can quickly run a lighter across the tip and it will melt and fuse the fibers on the end and will keep it from fraying. There is also a product called Fray Check you can use.
Jimmy it is for me, as his choice of fabric was really good. i like it. i will try to do this for this summer. Thanks. very good tutorial. i am actually learning to sew and you are easy to follow.
I love the crafty Gemini you make learning how to sew so much fun. I love the way you demonstrate . You make it easy to follow along and your very detailed. Thank you for making it so much fun!
