In 2019 LOVEBITES was joined the tour of Dragon Force and played with them. 5. On youtube chanels we can find thousands of reaction video to LOVEBITES (99% is from overseas) 6. When they released their latest Album"Judgement Day" it was No.1 of iTune metal chart in US,UK,Canada,Germany,Spain,Holland,Sweden and ofcourse Japan.(No.2 in France) 7. Vote for "10 Best songs you need to hear this week " organized by METAL HAMMER (UK Metal magazine) . "Stand and deliver"(LOBEBITES' latest MV song) was ranked N.2 prior to big famous bands in the world. But even with these background unfortunately I think they're not recognized than actual talent. Lovebites really don't have ANY bad songs. They might have some songs that you don't particularly like, but every one of their songs is well written and brilliantly executed. I admit I'm a total fan, so I can't claim to be objective here, but when I listen to a Lovebites album, I never want to skip any songs.
My next recommendations are "Above the Black Sea", "Shadowmaker" from their presentation at Wacken Open Air, Germany, 2018. For a different side of them, I suggest "Epilogue" (live, from "Daughters of the dawn", 2019). They're proficient and versatile musicians, so they have limitations; examples are "Dancing with the devil", "Edge of the world", "Frozen serenade", "Under the red sky", "Stand and deliver" and "Spellbound".
They have toured in the UK with DragonForce and played major festivals in the UK. There's a cool video of Assami going on stage with Halestorm to sing the song 'lovebites', but this was before COVID. I believe that the pandemic really messed up their long term plans and they see 'Judgement Day' as a new beginning in their attempt at world domination. They really need to crack the USA..
Miho Miho Miho! as a Lovebites Mega fan but NOT part of the Wolf Pack the only songs by Lovebites I'm NOT sold on are their pure PowerMetal songs "Nameless Warrior", "Spirit Lives On" and "Golden Destination" and also their weakest track by FAR "Inspire" IMO this is why I'm not a Wolfpack member who seem to think EVERY song is Gold. My Fav's are their old school Metal tracks Like "Stand and Deliver", "No Time To Hesitate", "Scream for Me" and "Addicted"
Miyako is a huge Gary Moore fan, and that bluesy solo shows it :-D She is one of the few people that can get close to Gary Moore's sound. Great react. I love this song. My favorite band and doing their albums is a great thing to do. Know that not all of what they do is thrash. Genre doesn't matter to me, great music is great F music regardless. Their musicianship is so on point. There are so many options for the next song, and none are bad. I'd recommend Under the Red Sky or Above The Black Sea, both from 2019 live at Mynavi Blitz Akasaka. Their a bit younger, and both are banging tracks with that classic gallop. 🤘

What explains their songwriting consistency and separates them from the many excellent Japanese rock and metal bands is that they have deep and eclectic formal musical training ... You won't be disappointed at their brilliance in ballad composition (including guitars solos that would make Gary Moore, Jimi Hendrix, and the Eagles (Hotel California, and even Mariah Carey proud) ... I am amazed at least half of Fami's subscribers haven't subbed to Lovebites. If only 10% of her subs would come over that would almost double their figure. But yes, the people at their label and management companies are failing them. The people in 'promotion' should be sacked.
I find it almost "criminally neglective", that Lovebites still are so unknown to the world (of Metal). I suppose, that the only method which is actually left to us (the fans) is "word of mouth", like in the time before the www was invented. It just looks so anachronistic to me.
I'm all about the thrash. I've seen my favorite Exodus many times, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, and many more. From a live recording standpoint, this is my favorite live thrash track ever. It's so different with the breakdown, and I love the lead going along with Asami's singing the chorus. Two songs off the Glory Glory to the World EP contain what I feel are two awesome deep tracks, "Paranoia" and "Dystopia Symphony". They don't get nearly the love they deserve.
It's been two years now since I discovered Lovebites and listened to their whole discography, and indeed they don't know how to make bad songs. No matter what kind of metal they play, it's always high level. If there is one word that would properly describe this band it is "PERFECTION".

I've got all their albums. And yes. On CD!!! Mainly so I can play it in my CD player in my car. I'm too old to work out how to use mobile & data devices to play music. I'm even contemplating buying them on good old vinyl to add to my 300 plus vinyl album collection. I told you I was old. That collection started in 1973 with 'Dark Side Of The Moon', when I was 15yo. I've got a damn fine stereo system & turntable. A sound that rocks the neighbors. I love this band. They bring back so many great sounds from the past. I love this song; it has so many good things, especially when and MIDORI puts HANNEMAN and KING in their place. But the best parts is MIYAKO’s melodic solo that to me sounds like a tribute to GARY MOORE. And you didn’t even mention HARUPI’s thunderous drumming. Raise Some Hell is a fun song that Stand and Deliver reminds me of and it is great. We United is another great song from this concert with a Guitar Solo Duel towards the end with a great guitar harmony. I began listening to some of the slower paced songs and they are beginning to grow on me as well.
If you're loving those "gang vocals" you need to hear "The Awakening/Hammer of Wrath", my favorite Lovebites song. "Hammer of Wrath" is the perfect metal song if you ask me.

The amount of On Point and Focus is Phenomenal in every song that they do. No Junk phrases no meh refrains just straight up Pure Power. Their writing formula is Amazing. Btw Lovebites is a band that has some tasty deep cuts. MDO, Above the Black Sea, Winds of Transylvania. They have Ballads if you are into those as well. Something for Everyone.

In one of your earlier reactions you wanted a ballad. You won't be disappointed at their brilliance in ballad composition (including guitars solos that would make Gary Moore, Jimi Hendrix, and the Eagles (Hotel California, and even Mariah Carey proud) ... P.S. METALLICA once performed with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. Miyako, Lovebites classically trained painist, mentioned in an interview deliberately composed most of LOVEBITES music to be one day accompanied by an orchestra. Lastly on your note re: them becoming known in the USA, I hope that 2023 will be the year that big names will take serious note of them. I find it almost "criminally neglective", that Lovebites still are so unknown to the world (of Metal). I suppose, that the only method which is actually left to us (the fans) is "word of mouth", like in the time before the www was invented.
It just looks so anachronistic to me.
I'm all about the thrash. I've seen my favorite Exodus many times, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, and many more. From a live recording standpoint, this is my favorite live thrash track ever. It's so different with the breakdown, and I love the lead going along with Asami's singing the chorus.
Two songs off the Glory Glory to the World EP contain what I feel are two awesome deep tracks, "Paranoia" and "Dystopia Symphony". They don't get nearly the love they deserve.
It's been two years now since I discovered Lovebites and listened to their whole discography, and indeed they don't know how to make bad songs. No matter what kind of metal they play, it's always high level. If there is one word that would properly describe this band it is "PERFECTION".

I love this song; it has so many good things, especially when and MIDORI puts HANNEMAN and KING in their place. But the best parts is MIYAKO’s melodic solo that to me sounds like a tribute to GARY MOORE. And you didn’t even mention HARUPI’s thunderous drumming.

Raise Some Hell is a fun song that Stand and Deliver reminds me of and it is great. We United is another great song from this concert with a Guitar Solo Duel towards the end with a great guitar harmony. I began listening to some of the slower paced songs and they are beginning to grow on me as well.

The amount of On Point and Focus is Phenomenal in every song that they do. No Junk phrases no meh refrains just straight up Pure Power. Their writing formula is Amazing.
