I have a female Russian Blue named Poppy. She knows a lot of tricks, I put her intelligence to good use. Very shy when it comes to new people. But very affectionate.

Beautiful kitty😁 I also have a male Russian Blue/ Korat. He's a AWESOME cat!! Very vocal for sure and he CRAVES attention. Can't get enough of it. His name is Smokey and I also call him 'Block Captain' when he's up high or watching intently out the window. He is extremely intelligent, and loves to play, lay on his back, and sleep under the covers. LOL Thanks for sharing your video on her with us👍
I love them, only from appearance, so I have some questions if you don't mind. 1. Did you get her as a kitten? 2. Was she easy to train? 3. Is she always peaceful? 4. Has she ever hurt you? Quick update: finally have a nice boy, very sociable, learning a lot, doesn't bite or Claw me intentionally but I've been clawed several times. Learning a lot as we go on, currently training him on the harness. Getting to understand his personality too... overall he's a good boy!
Mine kept following me home. I believe she was abandoned and sensed my loneliness? But she was super easy to train, she wakes me up like an alarm clock every morning and is so gentle and sweet about it, she follows me from room to room and comes when called. These cats get attached to their "Favorite companion" they'll even wait outside the bathroom door with you like they're making sure you're ok. I absolutely LOVE my cat and I never even had one lol
My shorty , who is incredibly grey learnt shake in 3 days and he has never missed the liter box. He is super peaceful but he gets angry immediately if I pet him wrong. He’s never hurt me but I’m a man but it does hurt when he claws me .
I love your sense of humor. I have a Russian Blue male named Lev that I was fortunate to adopt at age 4 months. He is everything you talk about. He recently received the present of a two month younger female calico from the same adoption agency and he is thrilled and generous with his home. He has an indoor tree and I couldn't believe he let her not only near it but on the top deck. I can't even go near it to open a window because he is "in a primal hiding state". Please keep making your videos and thank you.
Lovely cat. Russian Blues are so awesome. All cats are awesome, of course, but Blues are so just a little more. Wow, she is fourteen? Wouldn't have guessed that, you must have given her a lot of extra-special care, she looks so strong and healthy. I hope she will be with you for another ten years.
I have a male Russian Blue I adopted from a cat shelter a couple of years ago. His name is Romeo. I keep him inside because he’s tried to run away several times. I have no idea his exact age, however I was told by the vet that his estimated age then was approximately one and a half to two year old. He is the best cat I’ve ever owned and was lucky to have found him in a shelter at all. He wasn’t coping at all being caged up. He showed to be distressed. The shelter couldn’t thank me enough for giving him a home. He is so happy now and gets into a lot of mischief. He follows me everywhere. He steels my husbands chair every chance he gets and curls up to sleep. He’s so funny and so affectionate. Who couldn’t love a Russian Blue to bits?
I miss my Russian blue. He was the sweetest cat ever. His name was Baby J (short for Baby Jacob). Your video reminded me of him because of how much he loved being pet and leaned into me and rubbed his head and neck in. He also loved to chase his laser pointer. You should try it out some time. Great video : )
Laser pointers are actually not good for cats after further research unfortunately. It stresses them out since it’s something they can’t physically catch. They like to catch! Lol
Wow, she is just like mine, only my Nusha is younger. It' s a very calm and inteligent cat, sometimes very curious, and, above anything, very loyal. And you do a great job promoting this breed, and taking good care of your old Russian blue princess...I'm pretty sure she is grateful to you...
Amazing cat. I want one again. I used to have one (my dad named him Bruce Leeto) I got him as a kitten and he grew up with a pit bull puppy, so they got along great. He used to go on walks around the neighborhood with us.
Very cute, and so is your cat. I have a Russian Blue little girl named Blue and she's a sweetie-pie. They are the bestest and most loyal little things. Unfortunately, she is super skinny and was just diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and I've just started her on medicine and hoping it works. Her little heart and kidneys struggle to keep up with all the thyroxin being pumped into her system. I enjoyed your two videos and think your kinda funny in a sarcastic, snarky kind of way. All the best.
That’s a really beautiful cat. I could tell that she is an older cat. I really want a Russian Blue but I have a rag doll and he’s aggressive with other cats with his teeth during play and other cats do not appreciate that. And yes, Russian Blues DO have extremely silky fur! They are blue with silver lining- especially the darker blue ones! Very mysterious looking
Vicka, I adopted a 6 month old kitten who was already named "Marvel". We kept the name because he is a Marvel and we love the films too. He is somewhat of an anomaly. To all intents and purpose all the vets we have seen say he is a Russian Blue, however he has striped fur and also yellow eyes ? He was born to a feral mother who was small and black just like a short haired British Black. Marvel is nothing like his mother. We have the kitten photo' of him with his mother. Just like yours his personality is 100% the same. He loves the brush and if I hold it still, he works at it. He is very large and still growing. 6kg already at 6 months. What a beautiful boy he is.Don't have a Russian Blue if you can't be with them, they can seem solitary however they are not. They do need affection but on their terms.
I have a Russian Blue at my house, except he's a male. He eats like crazy. He's very vocal. Hates being picked up. Very friendly though, loves going outdoors especially at night. A great cat.
Russian blues are probably my favorite cats. We got our girl Sheba like six years ago. She was brought over by a friend who got her out of a meth house. She is very independent but she gives us lots of cuddles and loves to play with me.
My Josie, (named from Josie and the Pussycats, the 70's animated), does the same. Loves the attention, loves being touched or groomed, but, if shes chilling, let her be, cuz, she in her place lol. Almost all the time however, she loves the petting from friends and/or head and nose scritches. Always friendly, never nips but may "hide" if it is someone new. She's about 13 now, not a big jumper and getting up there in the years, but still super playful, and if she's in the zone she will jump up on higher stuff, it depends. I wish she became more open to going outside, but, it's okay and she feels safe. She still sits in the window and chitters at birds like a kitten 🙃 love my Josephine, Russian blues are super friendly, they just wanna know you!
I have a russian blue too! His name is Coal (you say it as cole) we call him coalie wolie or coalio 🤣🤣 Btw your russian blue is goegeous!! When i record my cat he bites my phone 😂😂 Stay safe😊 💓💓 X
