I have a Russian blue, he was a surrender, me, being a cat lover brought him home, he was 2 years old at the time, I'm not sure what he went thru before I got him, but, he definitely was a total mess, tore up and broke alot of this, after having him for about 6 months, he started changing, I gave him his space, he had toys a 7 foot tree house, I spoiled him, and today, 3 years later, this guy is a total love bug, he is one of the sweetest cats I've ever owned, he's calmed down, everytime I sit down, he's in my lap, so very happy this fur baby came into my life
I did not particularly want another cat, but my youngest daughter was offered one. I kept turning her down until one day she showed me him on Facebook and I lost my heart to him♥️... Harry has turned out to be one of the best cats I have ever owned, I would say that he has been the easiest to live with being completely loyal and very loving to me when I was all alone and poorly last year. What I like about this breed is that everything is so understated with them, they are never "in your face" and live very happily in the background. I would definitely recommend this breed, he seems to understand everything I say, weird! In addition, I would describe him as being quite "sensible" however, they do like to jump - being very tall cats. I do let him outside in his own garden (all of my cats are housecats) where he likes to survey "his territory" but I always keep my eye on him. Harry hates snow and the cold and is one of the first to fly back into the house when he has had quite enough of the great outdoors.
Love your two cats! Russian Blue are so sensitive.. they are very loyal to their owner. I have a female Russian blue in Beijing. she is always welcome me and my boyfriend when we got home. In morning she send us off when we go to work. Smart and easy to train. She is almost 10 years old but still very active and healthy.

Russian Blues are the best cats, they have good personalities. They’ve got good manners, playful and loving. Very good purring! Not much shedding and they do like their food. They like a routine, breakfast and dinner on time. Snacks like chew sticks. I recommend getting a pair, they enjoy company.
Both phrases “to anger someone” and “to make someone angry” mean the same thing and are both correct. Your English is great, no worries! Also, your cats are so cute :)

I have a Russian blue cat . I would never be able to give her up. When I first got her my friend had giving her to me she was outside her house n said she couldn’t keep her becuz she had other female cats . So I took her in n I haven’t owned a cat before but I would never give her up . Just love her . Thank u for sharing this video
They are so sweet! We've had an RB for twenty years!!! Miss her so much. If you are worried about furniture, just don't get a cat! Cats are better than furniture!
It was almost the same situation with me.. Sleepless nights, anxiety, depression, psychotherapy.. And then I’ve got him, my Russian blue cat Jessey 💙 he helps me a lot 💙 it was love at first sight ☺️
I was given a Russian blue by mu friend a little over a five years ago. I believe Murzick was eleven months old at the time. He jumped out of the carry case grabbed on to my jacket, and have not been in that carry case since. For a while I use to take him out and he would sit on my shoulder. But as he got older he did want to do it anymore and after he peed on me I stopped taking him outside. When I was moving and tried to put him in the carry case he shredded me pretty good. In the end I had to give him Xanax and still I couldn't get him in the case. Finally I picked him up and put him on my shoulder like in the old days and we took a two hour train ride from the Bronx to Brooklyn. I'm happy to say we made it to the new place without incident.
I have a Male Blue Russian cat and he is very affectionate and it is one of the things I love most about him. He is a very big cat like 10 or 12 pounds but kind as a baby. Great video by the way and I thought your English was great, keep up the great videos.
I also have 2 RB, a boy and a girl and they help me cope with the difficult life I have at home. They love me unconditionally and vice versa. Without them, I am not sure what I would become, to be honest.

I had a beautiful Russian Blue for 20 years ( I named her 'Misty Blue'; 'Misty', after an old jazz song (sung by Ella Fitzgerald), and 'Blue' because she was a Russian Blue. She loved being outside in the day, and inside at night (Sydney, Australia home). She had a tree covered in thick bark which was her favourite 'scratch post'. She was such an elegant and loving cat, but unfortunately she enjoyed to 'fetch' me small animals she had caught!! James and Mya will give you many wonderful times as they grow!
I just came across your video and was happy to have seen and heard your life with your Russiam Blues. I have had mine, named Corey for almost 10 years now. He is my best friend and companion. I would get another one but there are already 2 other cats in my place. Long story but 2 of them have become very competitive for my bed, a favorite chair and toys. I am retired so I can be there if things start heating up. Love my Corey so much. Thanks for sharing yours with us as they are so loving and sweet.

Hi! Absolutely agree with you. I just got my baby kitten Russian Blue breed. Somehow the Universe gave her to me and I was in the right place at the right time to find out that the firefighters came here to save the kitten out of the tree. She is only 3 months old. I was there per case and imediately I hear the mew crying I knew I have to stop and look for it. I didn't knew why the firefighers were there for. Find out that there was this kitten on the tree and she was crying. The lady who called the 911 told me that the kitten was there the whole day and it is cold already. I asked the guys if they save the kitten from the tree I will take her home. I am a cat volunteer and saved many cats lately, but as soon as the firefighter gave the kitten to me she imediately huged me and start to purr. I knew that this baby cat will not going anywere. Honestly in all my cat life volunterering I had the crush for two cats only. Thy were adopted both. This is the third one and is priceless how amazind this little creature can be. She is the sweeties cat ever. Love her so so much.

We got ours from Wilwarins Russisch Blau from Ratingen and i can not recommend the breeder enough. We in fact became friends after they gave us Jamesy and Mya. Another wonderful breeder that i know and can recommend from Germany is Silberfeder Russian Blau - pls check their pages and fb pages too. To be honest first i found this second one and the kittens who i fell in love were sold out. So she was kind enough to recommend her friend breeder and this is how we ended up with our cats. Best of luck getting furry loves new forever home

I got a 5 month old Russian Blue. I have 2 kitties (cats) I have had for7 & 9 yrs. I also got a 3 month old Siamese at the same time. All female! From the very beginning the R.B. was very aggressive with all of them . She would attack them so bad I would have to keep her locked in a separate room. I don' know what to do. She is very loving to me and my husband. And to all people Any suggestions ?

Hi.. When did her green eyes kick in ? My RB is 3 months! I'm upset because I have to go to work - and leave her in the house with my tenants which are mostly at work! I feel so sad! My last RB lived for 12 years but at least my mum was at home - this time around its different. Shes sooo playful and insists on sitting on my laptop! lol
I am getting my first RB in one month. Not my first cat, but the breed seems perfect for my living conditions. My question is, do you train them not to go on certain things…e.g. kitchen counters, tables etc.? I trained my previous cat(s) with a water bottle sprayer…which worked very well.
We have a cat sitter that comes 2 times a day and if it is a long holiday she stays in our house for few days in between for cats to have a company and cuddle and play

I ha da Russian blue but he was a non pure breed. The ones in the USA and England have yellowish eyes and darker thicker fur. These ones are crazy cute tho
I have lives alone for 6 years and have been researching the Russians Blues for the demeanor and hypoallergenic qualities however, I am not at home 13 hours a day 6 days a week so what I want to know is, would you recommend getting two instead of one. Thanks
It is always difficult ot tell like this. This breed is super social and generally cats need interaction. If you are away that much they might start acting up and it won'T be their fault. I only recommend cats to people who know they have time for their pets. They are living beings after all. Hope you understand why i say, what i say )
Lol my bf is from Ukraine and he had a cat named meow meow. My childhood dog we called Bubby because we didn't have a name for him and called him puppy and then that turned into Bubby lol
