i got my results back in august, and i just wanted to thank you so much for your past paper run-throughs, i ended up getting an A* in my IGCSE maths and your revision videos and prediction videos were SUPER helpful
Bro can you give me some tips? Some teachers ask to do topic wise questions while some ask to do yearly past papers. I currently manage to get an A but I really want to score an A*.
@@hhgshsjdjdhdjej depends on the test. if you're having topic tests then do topic wise tests according to the topic you'll be tested on. but for the final igcse exam, i recommend doing the actual igcse past papers as that will be the closest thing to the exam you'll actually be taking and you can familiarise yourself with it - there are a LOT of similarities between the papers, i even encountered some questions from the past papers that i did in my actual paper. i did over 70 past papers for my igcse math exams and i kept an excel spreadsheet and ticked off each past paper that i did, including the scores i got for each. remember to mark and correct yourself + understand why you got what you got wrong, and how to stop making the same mistake(s) in the future
@@hhgshsjdjdhdjej i also sticked sticky notes on a wall full of the formulas that will not be provided in the formula booklet at the start of the papers, e.g. sequences & series formulas
@@hhgshsjdjdhdjej if you dont understand anything from the past papers you did, do a bunch of them and show your math teacher the problems you dont understand & ask them to help you understand them
my man ginger , always got the thing i need man forever grateful to you . im giving my exam tomorrow and really needed to ace stats. thank you so much man may god bless you with a long and prosperous life keep up the good work
Just a trick for upper and lower quartile questions For lower quartile go to the smaller number areas and subtract 50% of the median from the median basically 25% And for upper quartile go to the higher side and Add 50% of the median to the median basically 75% Hopefully this helps

this is my first time watching your videos and you teach very well. Thank you very much! Also i particularly struggle with statistics and non-algebraic questions. Would you happen to have any tips for me? Thank you!

Hello, how would you advise we memroise these formulas, etc? I print, write everything down, make sure I understand them, but need to learn how to remember everything
Hi! Super helpful video! In the syllabus sheet, (E9.2) it says "Appreciate restrictions on drawing conclusions from given data." What do they exactly mean by this?
can you please explain why for the medium did you add 1 and then divide by 2? Is it for odd and even both and why do we add 1? can't we just divide by 2 to get the medium? Thank you so much
Hai.. thanks for the help. Can u help? Im confused. Finding LQ or UQ of cumulative frequency should be n x 1/4 and n x 3/4 right.. so my teacher wrote (n+1)/4 instead and idk how that works
Hi Cymric you always need to add one first, for example for 1, 3, 3, 5, 11 the median is 3 but if you just divided the amount of numbers there by 2, that would be 2.5, which is not correct 👍

ginger mathematician, you deserve more recognition, massive lifesaver helping me not stress and reduce pressure during these exams 😅
Please spread the word of the channel!
I have one suggestion of creating revision video too along with past papers please it would be very help full
Soon I’ll be studying this part, currently doing vectors.
Seems quite common to do vectors in Year 2 of the course.. and Stats too :-)
thank you so much you helped me alot, i have an exam tomorrow and i fail all my math exams but im trying really hard for this one and this has helped with statistics so thank you again ❤️
Hi Divider, glad the video helped 😊 How did your exam go?
YOU SAVED MY LIFE, THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH
Great to hear Reem, glad you liked it 🙂👍
In this question at 42:36 you dont even need to know the C.F for the last one (f=9 and m=75
😊👍
doin graphs always gets me trippin
But they make more sense now? 🙂
The best❤❤❤ thank you so much❤❤❤❤❤
No problem Matt :-)
Thank you very much for the video, Mr. Gower!
May I ask why you add a '+1' to find the upper quartile though? At about 7:20.
[(n+1)/4]* 3 is a standard formula that you will need to know for the IGCSE course!
pls make scatter diagrams video
Add to my getting longer list...!

You’re an actual hero thank you so much
No problem Mr. Nugget 😊👍
thanks for the help. You could also start doing past papers on your channel that would be quite useful for lot of us I am guessing.
Looking to fit in a Paper 2 when I can 😉
Thank you soooooooo much, sir u have no idea that how that u have removed all my confusion and I can do my past papers now . Thank you so much sir 😄
Pas de problem 😊👍
sir,are these all of..... videos comprehensive?
Yes 😊
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! appreciate these types of videos so much!!

Look cover write check is my go-to 👍
thank u so much p4 on 7, hoping to do better on this one! 😃
Your hard work will pay off. Best of luck on your exams!
Scatter diagrams pls 😢
Add to my list!
Hi! Super helpful video! In the syllabus sheet, (E9.2) it says "Appreciate restrictions on drawing conclusions from given data." What do they exactly mean by this?
Essentially when data is interpolated or extrapolated 😊👍
Can u post a video of 0607/43/mj /2022 and mj 41
I'll see what I can do 👍
hi, do these questions cover for the new syllabus (2025)??
Almost all of it 👍
You are the best !!!!!!!!!
Haha, thanks for your kind words 😊
can you please explain why for the medium did you add 1 and then divide by 2? Is it for odd and even both and why do we add 1? can't we just divide by 2 to get the medium? Thank you so much
Yep - take 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 - the median is 4 but you can calculate by doing 5+1 / 2 = 3rd term in the data set, which is 4 as well 😊
Hey, for the stem and leaf diagram, do we have to erase our markings to figure out the median, or will the examiner be fine with it?
You can leave the markings in 👍
@@GingerMathematician aight thanks man appreciate it
Sir what is the formula for upper quartile?
Lower quartlile x 3 is the easiest thing to do :-)
Thanks for the video , and also can i have the link for the presentation please ❤
All done, updated in the description 😊
@@GingerMathematician thanks
u nd zainematics = A star
Yep he has an excellent TH-cam channel too, particularly for O Level 🙂
im in the ninth grade, will uq and lq and histograms come in the papers? Our teacher did not mention in class.
Are you doing 0580 or 0607? 😊
Thank you soo much for your hard work for us 😊😊🥰🥰🥰
Glad it was helpful Amita - more suggestions for content please let me know 🙂👍
Excellent video sir good job
Thank you as always Abdallah 😊👍 Looking forward to more of your A Level Pure videos... 🙂
@@GingerMathematician thanks my plan this year sir is focusing on AS pure maths and A2 Pure maths!!
Looking forward to the videos 😊
Hello Ginger Math, I appreciate your content, could you do a video on formulae variation igcse?
Hi Brea, something like this? 🙂 th-cam.com/video/CU9EqGFT2os/w-d-xo.html
sir may I ask why we need to plus 1 before divide it by 4 when calculating the lower quartile
Take 2,3,3,3,4,5,6,11,12,13,13 - the lower quartile is 3 but to do that by counting the number of terms you need to add 1 first 🙂👍
Hai.. thanks for the help. Can u help? Im confused. Finding LQ or UQ of cumulative frequency should be n x 1/4 and n x 3/4 right.. so my teacher wrote (n+1)/4 instead and idk how that works

are histograms still not part of 0607 math?
For the moment but there may be a change in 2025 🙂👍
you forgot scatter plots
Not the biggest topic to come up but worth going over :-)
@@GingerMathematician yea I studied it and it was easy
