a video idea I have for you is to compile all formulas and techniques used in the IGCSE maths syllabus and explain how every one of them works. It could help students avoid silly mistakes. you could do this by going topic by topic so that students can skip ahead if they don't want to study a certain topic's formulas.
Thanks for the idea Sawada; I've turned your idea into an iGCSE Maths Trigger Words video, which does go through some formulae needed to respond to some trigger words. Check it out here :-) : th-cam.com/video/jNMA6oR5Yeo/w-d-xo.html
I cannot say how much u are helping me im taking olvl math in may 2 and im getting rlly low marks in my pastpapers and my mock is in one day but i think this is helping me even tho im already taking priv sessions but this worked as revision for me ! TY
@@GingerMathematician No suggestions at all, this channel is wonderful. Though, I was curious, could I send you a specific Math question I am struggling with and perhaps you could solve it in a future video? Thanks!!

hi sir!! at 15:34, for part a, i used a different working: since we know the bearing of b from a is 025, we can find the bearing of a from b as 25+180 = 205 degrees. then we subtract that from 115 degrees (in the diagram) and we get 90 degrees. is the working acceptable?
you're a life saver !! can we have tips and tricks on how to solve paper 4 IGCSE 0580 for May June series 2024 Also Im struggling in topic indices, I would love your help
@@GingerMathematician The math test was pretty good except for the last question which everyone found difficult. It was about angle of elevation and angle of depression.
Hie in question number 2 how is square root of 2 to the power 2 equal to 2.828 rather than 6 because I once worked out square root of 12 to the power 2+ 4 to the power 2 equals 28 now I’m confused

40:00 I actually just extended the north line to the line DC and then just did 180 degrees - 90 - 30 = 60 degrees
Also works :-)
Underrated!
Aww thanks PegDye 😊 More to come!

How to calculate bearings on the extended paper? Do I have to estimate without using a protractor?
Use normal angle facts 😊👍
This is really helpful thank you. Can you do circle theorems?

@@GingerMathematician The math test was pretty good except for the last question which everyone found difficult. It was about angle of elevation and angle of depression.
At 39:27 in the paper can we just draw the north from B and find the bearing by drawing the angle from that
Yes, since bearings always originate from the north!
Hey I have a q, for Q8 b part, why can't we do 180-(90+65)?
That is also possible :-)
Thanks , would there be any chance of you going through igcse probability and sets
Sets is on the list Dhilan, All of iGCSE Probability can be found here 🙂: th-cam.com/video/9WiCRHYqLkc/w-d-xo.html

A quick question should I always expect a cosine or sine rule bearing question or use of trig
Comes up a lot on Paper 4 😊👍
You are amazing 👏...May God bless you
Thank you so much Ritu! 😀
4:34 shouldn’t you mark it with 060 degrees or do you only write it im three figures when giving the answer?
I tend to write only the answer with three figures, saves a tiny bit of time with working 😊👍
@@GingerMathematician Thank you for the clarification!
