- It's a mini O.C. reunion on this week's episode of Men at Work, as Benjamin McKenzie guest stars on the comedy series, and just like the old days, his character brings some drama. ET has your exclusive sneak peek.
In 2004, Michael Cassidy joined The O.C. for a recurring role on its second season. His character did not appear on the third season of the show and he later bounced around on various TV shows.
McKenzie's character tries to ease the tension by telling Tyler that he need not worry about him or dating a woman with children, but he leaves out a significant piece of information that he should have told Tyler at the onset.
"Sorry to keep you. I see you've met my ex-husband," Tyler's date says as she enters the room.
The former O.C. co-stars reuniting for the first time in eight years.

Frankly, I always thought Ben McKenzie was great with comedy. He had some of the best comic timing in The OC seasons 2 and 4.

@ryan jones how can you say you don't care that much for Smallville?? you do realize if Smallville was never created on the WB, the WB AKA The CW would have never had the idea to start making hero shows because remember before Smallville wb only produced dramas like Dawson's Creek for example..
Just like how networks like ABC and CBS didn't like doing comedies back in the 80s until they made shows like taxi and Night Court... that's how networks end up changing their theme for TV shows for the network it start somewhere and leads to somewhere.. just like how I know for a fact back in the 70s if the network behind the old school Addams Family show if they actually stuck with that kind of show their Network would have became the first Syfy channel... that's the reason behind the cancellation of The Addams Family back in the seventies because the network behind that show wanted to change the theme for shows that they produced that's something you need to understand in terms of Smallville and CW...

The oc was probably one of the best shows ever created. it sucks that it fell apart .... damn Misha Barton and her drugs lol 😂💩✌
Characterization-wise the show got better when they killed her character off, but drama-wise it kinda needed her to drive the drama. She was the only person not willing to get her $%^& together. The actress and character really had a lot in common.

are you kidding? season 4 was garbage. all the new random characters and terrible story lines. Marissa's sister, random hippie dude who is friends w Summer, Chris Brown, that random Texas tycoon character. One of the worst seasons of any show I have seen on television. The OC died when Marissa died whether you like Mischa Barton or not.
@@dctowna1517 Sorry but as a consumer, I can and I do have my own opinion. I found season 4 to be delightful and hilarious. It was, however, very different from seasons 1 - 3. It almost felt like a completely different show. I was only sad that Kristen and Sandy seemed to have taken secondary roles in the last season. Otherwise I enjoyed watching that season very much.
I always liked Marissa, she had potential but her character kept going through the same - crisis, meltdown, a guy, crisis, meltdown, a guy. She was also very plain at acting, none of her scenes were convincing to me, her costars would always save the scene.
Lol Well crazy hippie dude now makes more money and is more famous than any of The OC stars since Che from Season 4 was played by Chris Pratt.

This is where my good face memory becomes annoying. I know I've seen this man, he looks so damn familiar. I even googled him to find out what part he played in The O.C. and still I have no other recollection of him on the show other than his face.
Which guy? The shorter guy played Ryan Atwood, while the taller guy played Zach from season 2. He and Seth teamed up to create Little Miss Vixen, a comic book based on Summer, who they both were attracted to. Zach dated Summer for a good chunk of season 2
Yeah, which one are you referring to? I'm going to guess you're referring to Michael Cassidy because Ben McKenzie played the main character (Ryan) on The OC, and I doubt you'd have trouble remembering him on The OC (lol given that the show was about him).
