General Grievous Vader is something I desperately want to see.
You know, honestly it always bothered me that Luke was the only one smart enough to figure out that kind of obvious tactic of tripping the walkers.
This is already going down as one of the best back issues. the star wars comics have such a rich trove of pure and beautiful shlock
Infinities are hilarious. Pretty sure Sal was alluding to Yoda crashing the Death Star into Coruscant at the end there 😂

When yoda took Vader on the vision quest, it’s a lot like what doctor strange did to the hulk in World War Hulk. Especially how the visions end.
I utterly adore Sal's Yoda impression....specifically how he has Yoda say very un-Yoda like things. XDXD

33:24 Alright, to be fair, in Anakin's defense, they were animals. So he slaughtered them like animals.
The writer didn't know this back then, but Yoda making the plan to get younglings now that the men who are most detrimental to younglings' health are gone was a good move.

This is so cool .. also it is amazing that Leia had Mace Windu's lightsaber, because in Legends Leia's daughter Jaina had a purple lightsaber and she was amazing👏

I love this Vader death. He is evil and violent until then end... Then when he loses and is dying is like, "ohh, my daughter, I love you, I'm a good guy now, I'm going to go to heaven!" All smiles and shit... Wonderful.

OMG, I love the idea of having a "What If... Greedo Shot First?" comic that just carries all of the stupid changes Geroge Lucas made to his own movies to their logical conclusions.
So like, Han Solo dies right away and Luke & Obi Wan fly away with Chewbacca. R2-D2 gets stuck in some rocks and C-3PO gets killed by Tuskin Raiders (not referring to them as "sand people" is the one change that's actually better) and everything plays out much better until the Ewoks show up. More Ewoks die because some of them blinked at the wrong moment. Everyone at Jabba's Palace hates it there and is looking for an opportunity to politely leave. Stuff like that
As an EU fan this combines two things I love. Also at 23:06 is a reference to a Republic comics character called Vilmarh Grahrk who was constantly betraying Quinlan Vos or helping him, whatever suited the plot.
Honestly- at least the way you described this book Sal- it sounds like a really good read!
I just watch the 2 Star Wars episodes with Jason not even 2 days ago! I was thinking how I would love to see him back for more episodes. Then today and get home, open youtube and like magic, there's a new episode with Jason! This made my day. Thanks guys!

One of the things that really bugs me about the whole anikin building 3po is like how did that slave child make him able to understand languages hes never heard before?
I figure it’s like building a PC where you can insert and connect different parts. Little Anakin was just able to scavenge a language card or something and insert it into C3PO, and so then he just knew those languages.

While I never actually read these stories in particular, one volume of Star Wars comics I did read, had a gag comic , where one of the comic writers is confronted by Boba over the whole "Carbonite Desk" thing, and Boba proceeds to freeze the writer into a Carbonite Desk, before saying, "Enjoy the comic" to the reader. Now I actually have context for that!

I love when you guys do Star Wars so much. I know they're not super popular episodes, but watching you either love on the OG trilogy or making fun of the prequels always makes me smile.

I actually had one of the issues of this. It came with a Vader Figure based in his suit in the vison which was an interesting desgin.
