I'm a huge Deadpool fan, and this is one of the best "Deadpool Vs" mini series! The whole thing where Punisher has a bag full of Deadpool masks to swap out each time he put a bullet in Wade's head is pure genius.
Ali Al-ziyadi he did TDKR. I think he could do Annihilation. Plus some of the density can be summarized quickly. Especially the super skull and ronin parts
I know Sal didn't like the BvS reference. But dammit I haven't laughed that hard in weeks when he said that. Did it date the book? Yes, but it was the single best line in the whole story

Van lente did a taskmaster mini series a few years ago called taskmaster: unthinkable. It's OOP but if you can find it's a must read. It has humour but a very touching element that makes taskmaster a sympathetic character if you can believe it. Great work as always guys, I never miss a video :)

There's an issue where Deadpool, Elektra, Ghost Rider and Agent Venom are all in the Thunderbolts led by Red Hulk (they all have a red and black theme so Venom just colours his logo at will). Venom peace's out and Frank turns on the team. He neutralizes Deadpool by cutting him into bits and locking each in unbreakable Vibranium canisters. His head and Frank have a hilarious heart to heart talk. The coolest is how he takes down Ghost Rider- he finds out he needs a holy or unholy forged weapon, goes on an epic quest for a fabled holy sword and then discovers in combat it's a fake. So he fucks up the Rider with his own chains...
Deadpool: Wait ✋ what if we work together as a team? The punisher: Oh right that sounds 👍 a brilliant plan ( Deadpool and the punisher fight crime like mobsters and murderers. )

I'm pretty sure that happens at the end of the first or second issue of that Question run, where Vic gets shot and is badly injured (falls into some cold water, Batman's involved at some point, I think; it's been a while since I read the run, I don't remember it all)

Marvel had a bunch of random jokes/references to BVS during this tome though. I have a Domino one shot from around this time in Marvel with a conversation between two goons and one of them says he couldn't bring himself to kill a dude because his mother was named Martha as well.
The fact that it's a struggle shows how badass Frank is. Like Deadpool is a weapon X experiment and has all sorts of abilities but guess what.... Frank gives no fucks
it does date the book but the martha moment got another laugh out loud moment from me on this third watch and let's just be honest, that moment deserves the mockery...hell that whole BVS catastrophe deserves the mockery. as in the rlm half in the bag review, "martha's his mommy's name!" it's so ridiculous it belongs perfectly in a deadpool book

You guys should read the Taskmaster by this same author, Fred Van Lente. It's a comedic, dramatic, action-packed emotional trip.

I like the idea that, among all his other catalogued skills, Taskmaster is secretly a Bronze-medal level swimmer.
