- The Cherry Creek National Hare N' Hound is the oldest Hare N' Hound around. This was the 62nd running of this iconic event hosted by the Sugarloafers MC. The last time I raced this was in 2018 and I'm so glad I had the chance to race this year. The first loop consisted of a lot of sand and the fast burn all the way out to Desert Mountain the west desert of Utah where we went from blinding dust to almost blinding rain for a few minutes.
But Loop 2 is where the goods were, but unfortunately my GoPro battery died halfway through Loop 1 so I don't have any footage of the good stuff.
This was the third race of the UMORA series and second National Hare N' Hound in the past 6 weeks in the Cherry Creek area, but was the first course where we were able to get higher up into the hills where the good trails are due to such a heavy winter in Utah. Loop 2 absolutely did not disappoint and was such a blast with lots of perfect dirt, tight trees, mud, and even a little snow.

What happened to everyone starting together? Theres a lot of guys signing up novice, who are fast as the experts. I raced the last real Barstow to Vegas in 1973.
Over 3000 bikes left the starting line together. GLORY DAYS!!!
