It's cool whatever it is, but it's very noticeably weaker at low RPM. That will hurt him on more technical courses where you need raw torque at low speeds. That said, most courses I've seen can be beaten with flat out speed, provided the driver has the balls to do it.
Fascinating! Where can I get me a little buggy like that? Put lights, blinkers & a license plate on it- my commute home from work will never be the same again! Amen!

こうして見ると早く登れる車と登れない車の特徴が良く分かります。
車体が軽い車とエンジンの吹け上りがコース全体で良い車とタイヤの接地面が多くて車体が安定してる車です。
この動画の4:54のドライバーは上手いです、同じコースを走っているとは思えないくらいの安定性です。
ドライバーもコースをしっかりと見ている人が上手く行ってると思います。
日本でもこんな大会があるならば見に行きたいです。
