It's the new Air Cup system from Driftworks that means you can run proper coilovers, so you don't have to compromise your handling, but can still lift at the touch of a button to help navigate the real world! You should have filmed the install..... but I guess there would have been an 1h of getting it on the lift

You no what I was just thinking about something like this about a week ago as I was trying to get my driftcar in my trailer pain keep bending the checker plate up as I hit it with my sump or arms etc etc I'll need to change my coilovers to cs2s at the same time buts that's cool need to as ones weeping a bit I'll get Xmas done and place an order cheers Boys

I've gotta lot of speed bumps in my area so is it possible if I get a bigger tank that's gonna allow me to lift and drop the car multiple times?
Dude... Think yoursel for a sec 😑🙈. Obviously the answer is: a bigger airpump and/or bigger airtank gives more/quicker times to raise the car
What are those things on the bumper - linking it to the fender - called? what are they for?
They're to be able to quickly mount the bumper using rubber O rings or zip ties.

It won't I'm afraid. Because E36 MonoPro uses the widest of the inverted dampers we offer. It's possibly something that we will work on depending on the success of these applications.
What about coilover that have the springs seperate from the shock? Would the cups be able to work or not?
No, we don't have a solution for that, unfortunately.

I wouldn't go as far as calling him poser. I would rather say the only time he changes his tires, is when he changes his -purses- rims xD. Which is pretty ironic that he works in Drift Works, not StanceWorks, or HardParkWorks. But at least he popped his burnout cherry.

We can do them for a variety of different brand coilovers. What brand do you have and what car?
Not long got a set of bc racing RM’s from yourselves for my s15. Could be a solution to my drive/exhaust problems
can i ask... those clips on the front bumper... does that allow for you to just snap on and snap off the whole front bar...?!?!! my rx7 could totally deal with a set up like that...

That's still low tho. There isn't much wheel gap because it's stretched and has tiny sidewalls, but ground clearance isn't really enough for most stuff.
The static ride height is up to the individual customer. This is just Starkeys preferred ride height on his car.

I know, but he said "people will still call this low" and it is, it just doesn't look as low because of his tire fitment. If he had no strech and a 40 sidewall tire he would look much lower.
I wasn't making my comment on the product, but more like a reaction to what he said in the video.

Yes, we do a kit for the front and rear.

Does this work for an e90 bmw sedan with black super sport coilovers?
We've done a few E90 kits we supply the whole HSD coilover kit and aircup system together. Get in touch with our customer service staff if you need any advice at all. Through the webshop or social media.
Can this kit be fitted to HSD coilovers? And would HSD allow me to have similar drive height as you?
It can't unfortunately. You need the CS2 sized dampers for the aircups to work on Sbodies as they use a large inverted damper shaft.
What's the most time these car hold air before damaging? would be quite useless if it was any less than 3 mins imo
They are only meant to lift the car over an obstical at low speed and be let down afterwards. They aren't meant to be driven on for any amount of time. It's not useless at all if you run your car low on coilovers & want to be able to clear speedbumps etc. What you are looking for is normal air suspension.
But I want the opposite. I want my car to run at a normal-ish height. Then when I wanna hit the track I can drop it to super low race mode. And don’t say airbags because we all know coilovers out perform air on the track. So basically I want track set up coilovers that can be turned into super comfy air ride at the touch of a button. Or how about electronically adjustable coilovers? Track/street/comfort modes? Someone make that

fiesta51 that would be interesting maybe like a little motor that sits where the locking nut sits with a touch of a button you can move the coil up or down and also lock it in place

will the air cups last as long as the coils?
They look to be extremely well made and come with a 2 year warranty, so I'd have no reason to believe there'd be an issue with them lasting as long as the CS2s, but it's a new product and we don't have years of data, so we can't make any promises.

Hi, do you mean does it work on a drift car? It doesn't really make any difference what type of driving you're doing. You can only use this to raise the car temporarily, the rest of the time when driving under any condition it doesn't play any part in what the suspension is doing.

So if I'm going say 80mph and I know there's a dip on the road up ahead can I air up while moving just for that one dip then air out?
It's not advised. They are made for getting over low speed stuff.
Will this be avilable for a ek honda?
Yes I'm pretty sure we'll be able to make an EK HSD MonoPro and AirCup kit.

We have the air cup kits for most coilovers at £615
What is the specs of the wheels on the S15? And does it have wider fenders?
The wheels are 18x9.5 ET-5 fronts and 18x10.5 ET-33 Rears and he is running +40mm front and +50mm rears

Build a little box around compressor, with sound foam inside compressor will be alot quiter
Can air cups be used on a drift/track car? Are they literally for getting over bumps? Can you drive around aired up at all?
Yeah no problem that's what they are designed for. They aren't anything more than a slight spring spacer when they are in the down position, so you can do everything you would normally do. You can of course driver far enough to get over your obstacle with them up, but they are not designed to be driven for any distance.
iv been bagging trucks here in the states for a while , they are rated for more than the original spring is, and since he is using a cup it wont have lateral sway under load.

Airbags are an entirely different thing. Airbags are designed to be driven on while inflated. These aircups are not designed for extended use, just to lift while you get over your obstacle.

Mine feel wobbly once on. Its wierd maybe thats what its supposed to feel like since the cup sits on the coil instead of it being all one solid piece. I just been driving it on the streets until I feel safe enough to get on a highway

I wish you guys didn’t act like you’re the first ones to come up with this concept taking pneumatic air cups from supercars, maybe just say “hey there’s other companies out there with a product like this but ours is different in this way.....” not everyone lives under a rock like most of these commenters but air cups in VIP/Racecars have been around for a loooong time. PlatinumVIP from Southern California were the first I heard of doing it. I’d get some but where the fun in driving a static low car if you have any kind of air to help you not scrape? Scraping is where all the fun is at lol
