can you please reveal some common features for c250 2013 model
Just a quick one you didn’t mention that may be helpful in my 2018 E class coupe whilst park assist is in operation if you wish to abort the function quickly you just have to grab the steering wheel and it cancels immediately 😊👍

Hi . I’ve watched your video, looks very easy but unfortunately I can’t use it on my GLB . It’s curtesy car as my Peugeot e2008 was stolen. I was using park assist on Peugeot without a problem but GLB is giving me hard time . Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

doesn't work on mine no matter how many times I try lol (17 A-Class 220d premium plus) have the blue 'P' showing in dash though lol, plus a console button have tried it illuminated and not

I received a 2021 CLA 250 AMG as a courtesy car on Wednesday. It's now Sunday night and I've only just found out what this particular "P" is for; not knowing was starting to annoy me! Your video explains things completely, so many thanks! One thing (purely out of interest) - will the park assist manoeuvre the car into much shorter spaces than those you've shown?

My S63 is fully loaded, but for whatever dumb reason, doesn’t have blind spot detection. Do you know if I can just pop out the side mirrors and put in the blind spot mirrors?
Not as simple as that, you will need all the sensors, modules, wiring loom and also get it coded via STAR.

Once you have used Park Assist to park the car will the system get the car out of the space so you can drive off again? Great vid too.
It does on the newer models, I wasn't able to get hold of one for the video im afraid.
@@killerhertzmercedes I have a 15 plate C220 Sport Premium Plus with "Active Park Assist", I have on a couple of occasions seen a display flash up when in a car park with side-by-side parking but it never stays up for long enough to see what it says but I'm assuming it is not the parallel parking system as that looks different on the display.
@@shh882h Yes, I was hoping to film my familes W205 however due to the C-19 I have not been able to. Your car should be able to drive out of a space again, aswell as reverse into one (as per end of my video) Cheers!
@@killerhertzmercedes @KillerHERTZ Mercedes sure it does, after parking assist you can get out by pushing on the indicator of your direction than D gear, the monitor shows the possibility to get the car out automatically. Try it.
Mine never registers. Is there a reason? I have my signal on and I'm goin less than 30 mph
Please help. I have a 2017 Slc 250 d amg line however it doesn’t steer itself. I have to steer it following an arrow that lights up on the dash filling it with blue until the required amount of steer has been executed. Is this normal or is there a way I can activate it to steer itself?

My 2015 s350 has a '' Blue P '' light that pops up when driving slow in built up areas . However when I line up perpendicular to 2 parked cars with a car space in between the 2 cars , the white arrow light never comes on , and putting the car into reverse gives me no messages on the dash . Do I take it that I don't have Park Assist or am I doing something wrong ? tia.

You could, but it would envolve changing so much kit that it wouldn't be worth the cost. modules, bumpers, re-coding, indicators on dash...

I have a 2015 b classe 200cdi and it does the back in a parking space 6:18 I've tried it in my garage
Mine seems to ne really temperamental when it actually offers me the function yo select when you put oy in reverse. The blue park icon is yhere at thr top of the display alot but it doesn't always then give me the option to use it. And just now it totally balls up a park 😂😂

Hi, as per the video there needs to be a gap between 2 objects and you need to be at the correct speed. Cheers :)
On the w204 2011 you have to move the steering wheel yourself.
The later models had it fitted. :)

Does the car have to have rear camera or is the beeping thing enough
The rear camera & parking sensors are totally different systems to this, your car needs to have an electric steering (Fly-By-Wire) set up. Regards

No, it needs cars (or other objects) to determine the size of the space - also, if its empty why would you need help parking?

Too bad that MB has deactivated Active Park Assist (with driver on board) on the entire range of cars registered in Italy and also in other European countries since September 2020, and it's not clear if MB will deactivate it on all cars registered before that date at the next scheduled maintenance

They deactivated it on my E class 300de but it’s been reactivated a few months ago, not sure why. And yes, im in the heart of the EU.

Possibly, but they mainly started appearing late in that year. Do you see a blue P when you slow down? if so, you have it.

How comes it doesnt always show the P even though the space is clearly big enough?
As explained in the video, it only scans at speeds of 30mph or less, then when it sees a gap between 2 objects.
Parking assist features must cost at least a couple of Grand extra on the top of your car. Just a call it a novelty because that is exactly what it is a novelty if you can't park your car you should not be driving
Its now included for free on virtually all models.
@@killerhertzmercedes Yes, included but not explained how properly to use it. Also driver is responsible if an accident occur. Expensive, useless add on.

It's not expensive as all models come with it as standard now.

I'd be upset if the system caused wheel rash. I have an Sclass and I parallel park on my own. It's not worth destroying $1,500 wheels.
How the car know if is “reverse” park or “parallel” park?
If you have active park assist the car is configured for it, it will ask you on the dash if you want to reverse into a space.
5:03 not a god job!! If everyone parked like this we have a problem. You park close to the car in front or close to the car in the back. You do not park so the space is 1,3 meter to the cars 🤣😂😂😂🤣😂🤣😂. Mercedes have work to do
To be honest, if you really need to use the system at all, it probably would do a far better job than the driver :D

So it's only for show off and for blondes? Same as gear flaps on the steering wheel. Everyone want them, no one use them. If one doesn't know how to park, one shouldn't have driving licence in possession.

I love my flappy paddles! But I never used the park assist after it tried to “bay park” me into a “parallel park” slot and I hadn’t realised the difference.
Maybe I’m blonde after all.....
