I don't know what to tell ya pal. It's already in the video title. Are people really used to clickbait titles? It's literally written, "Upgrade SSD". Which is what he did. Here's my advice, look for "MacBook Air M1 LCD replacement" on the search bar.
Wow, amazing and a great job updating the storage on an M1, question, can you do the same to an iMac M2, can we see if this can be done by doing a video. Thanks 🙏
To replace the hard drive for an Apple product, you should note the following: • The replacement hard drive must be from another device of the same generation. • You will need a specialized tool to read and change the serial number of the new drive to match the old one (otherwise, it will not be activated). • Use a suitable temperature to melt the solder without affecting the surrounding components. Be cautious during the process to ensure the device functions properly.
Congratulations on the good work, I wouldn't do it because of the risk it entails, in the end a 1 TB external USBC SSD goes to almost 1 GBs, I think it's more important to increase the RAM.
Something I don't understand is, 1) when we open the back cover we can see the disk, then why are we removing a lot of other screws and taking the motherboard out and with the heat gun we are removing the disk? 2) what are all the solutions we need to use? 3) how to restore the OS after a new disk is installed! all are questions.
@@punisher15101993 How were you able to get “new” from China? That’s nearly impossible. Unless they faked the data on the chip to show as new with no write cycles

Impressive work, but I’m not sure it is worth it with M1) The work itself should cost half the price of a laptop.
It's china, I think it won't cost high compared to USA and other countries.

The ram is part of the chip, unlike the ssd which is a separate component, so there's no way to upgrade the ram.
