Hey bernth, looking forward to see you in Zürich!! I also am planning to make some fanart, can i submit it to you there or is there somewhere i can send it to?
It's only fake in that some of the parts were recorded separately, as you can see at just after 0:50 when he starts playing the steel strings again the rubber bands are still being plucked in the audio but not in the video. @@Christopher_Giustolisi
Bravo Benth! I love your acoustic songs especially. You have managed to pump out so many quality songs in so little time, and have experimented with music along the way. Those are the signs of a great musician. I'd love to hear a collab between Bernth, Charles Berthoud, and Charlie Robbins all at the same time! God only knows what kind of music the three of you could create.
There are a lot of guitarists with impressive chops, but after one listen, I'm ready to move on. Bernth is one of the few that gets me to listen more than once because his music is good, and his technique serves the tune. 👏
I play cello and I've always wondered what happened to cello / contrabass pizz being used in jazz to current music so seeing you reviving it was lovely. Great playing from the classical community ❤
Playing great is one thing and a lot of musicians have it, but what a lot do not have is creativity. You have both, Bernth! This is great music! I'm glad TH-cam referred your song to me.
Just simply amazing. Actually words can’t express, or don’t do justice, as to how beautiful you guitar make your guitar sound. My world truly needed this today. Thank you so much for sharing your talent!!
Mixing in the bass notes gave me great Metallica vibes. My dad grew up with them so of course he likes their earlier songs, but I feel like they really leveled up and refined themselves to an amazing degree as time went on. The way their songs can be majestic, intense, and vary so much within a single song is really impressive. That’s what this reminded me of
Bernth!! You are a legend for sharing something so pure with us, the community, without charging a cent It sounds beautiful and is such an inspiration.. Godspeed mate. Lots of love from Sydney, Australia ☺️
You made me start playing again 13-30 I played ALOT and could play just about anything I heard in my head that was my goal due to circumstances out of my control I stopped and barely picked my guitars up for 8 years I just got through with playing around for 2 hours or so. I feel like my fingers and picking are clumsy especially where I was but I can already feel it coming back. Thank you BERNTH
Legend in the making, saw this vid and made me book one of your tickets straight away. What a magnificent man, so talented, the sounds are so ethereal one cannot describe the emotions you convey with the tapestries of soundwaves that you are tickling our ears with. I had to use expensive words, and yet it still is not enough to express the gratitude and amazement over bearing witness of this amazing lyrical piece of music. You sir, with every note you strike are writing history for many humans for the coming eons, among the lines of beethoven and mozart, that's how beautiful this is! Success will come your way in no time for certain, just never forget who you are! Very extravagant, yet so calm, a very unique style!
You never cease to amaze me with the things you come up with. Every time, Just when I think there is nothing new or different you can do with the guitar you come up with something crazy out in left field That sounds beautiful. Thank you for sharing your passion for innovation.
Couldn't play to save my life but this only cements what I've always believed and that is that the guitar is one of the most versatile and beautiful instruments Mankind has ever been blessed with. Thank you.
I just stumbled onto this. I really think we're being invaded by alien musicians. Kidding. The innovation and abilities of guitarists like this leave me stumped. Floored. Happy! I can play a great rockin' blues and several others styles, but I CANNOT DO THIS! 😂 I truly love finding and listening to players like this. 👏👏👏
This sounds amazing! As someone who regularly plays video games with the full keyboard being used by one hand, I can relate to having "too many" buttons to press with one hand while my mouse hand just points and clicks. If I might make a suggestion on how to play this 21-string guitar - make use of finger picks, so your strumming hand can strum with five fingers instead of a single pick - the wider you can make your hand, the more strings you can pluck. It might also be useful to use finger picks on both hands to reach different notes, and to get used to doing a "shaka" hand sign to reach opposite ends. Plus, most people that I've seen play the guitar with both hands do so with the hand on the neck pointed down so they can reach their fingers down and pluck the string up, rather than this current method of plucking down; I would imagine it's easier to pluck both ends of the guitar with the neck hand pointed down, which means the longer strings should be on the bottom of the guitar. It might be easier to play this instrument in a different manner, like a steel guitar, standing bass, or whatever is needed to reach balance. In a lot of ways, this guitar reminds me of the harp guitar, but most players of that instrument used the harp as an afterthought to their guitar strumming: th-cam.com/video/Cvar4ZsqsEo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TQNwVYFyk_V7qDsA

Now this is my second favorite after waterworks
bro YESS
I think Farewell is my second fav behind waterworks but this one’s also good
Agreed ❤
Water works is really good but I like time the best
Agree for sure!
This is beautiful!! Was not expecting it to sound so majestic
i can't believe how freaking good that sounded. can't stop listening..
yeah, because it´s fake. Are you that gullible?

@@Christopher_Giustolisi Despite some parts being recorded separately, they're still being played. Your point?
@@Scratchydoesmusic it´s completely fake. Rubber bands wouldn´t make that sound.
@@Christopher_Giustolisi And how do you know that?
Прекрасный гитарист, фантастическая мелодия, необычная гитара... Всё вместе- супер! 👍
Гитара как раз самая обычная Была

Wow! This solo sounds 3,5 times better that the ones performed on a regular guitar and I am all for it!
I play cello and I've always wondered what happened to cello / contrabass pizz being used in jazz to current music so seeing you reviving it was lovely.

Браво!🎉 Как виртуозно играет! Какой талант! Спасибо!
How does bro come out with so many fire songs in so little time, while also completely redesigning his guitar every time.
Love this, man... it feels like a sound from medieval times and with a sprinkle of oriental (eastern) scales
Baroque Period, Theorbo (Lute with added Bassstrings)
Another flawless work from my favorite guitarist, I love it
You legit almost make me cry with how beautiful your music is sometimes. Congratulations to you and your wife and keep it up!
You just made a harp guitar.
A Harpsitar!

This is brilliant. It opens the imagination to alternative instruments. I love the ideas, and the sound. Made me smile.
this was one of the best and unique songs you played on an acoustic, the water filled one was one of the best, but this, this is art.

Who needs a string quartet with this guy around. Amazing.
It’s sounds so beautiful and oriental. 🇺🇸🥀🎚❤️🕊🦋
That guitar and the composition, to me, gives off Dominic Frasca/Michael Hedges vibes (which is not a bad thing by any means). Simply beautiful
That was really bloody good! Thoroughly enjoyed the audio feast! Amazing what some rubber bands can sound like.
Incredible melody and precision, your love of music is showing!!
You are one of the most creative on this platform. Much love brother
Experiment was a mind blowing success. Bravo.
A real maestro! Of WHAT I'm not sure, but the low tech approach to new vistas of string composition is almost as beautiful as the piece itself.
This is an absolute treat for the ears,
Beautiful and melodic.
Never did I think a professional musician would make music with a rubber band guitar. But it sounds amazing mixed together with the regular guitar!
It touches my heart 😢😢😢 so melodious...I'm speechless 😶 what a combination ❤❤❤❤ eagerly waiting for your another surprise video....❤❤
