Could you help me? I live in Finland and would like to order these. I wear W38 pants finnish size and when I measure my waist it is 43.3 inches or 110cm. Is the measurement on these pants such that if measured waist is let's say 44 inches, the right pant size would be W44?
Fred how wide and deep are the side pockets that you keep your knife in? I'm wondering because your mini grip seems to fill that completely and an adamas or contego might not slip in. Awesome vid btw!

Slim fitting, more narrow than your average tactical pants. Stretchy enough to be comfortable, great material-tough. This video helped me make the decision!

I've been dancing around purchasing these pants for a while now since the 5.11 Apex I recently bought are a bit more baggy than I hoped and the 2 LA Police Gear pants I have are definitely way too baggy but these look like exactly what I want, only question about em is the width around bottom. Low waist pants are not conducive to comfortably IWB holster wear. A "Tactical Pant" with a waist height which made concealed carry difficult and uncomfortable would pretty much betray the label of being called a "Tactical Pant". That being said, these Vertex pants do not have as high a waist as say 511 TacLite's. They are much more stylish. The fit is superior to rigid fabrics and where these stretch fabrics really shine is in the comfort department
I have the Defenders and prefer the 2 extra pockets on my rear hip. My mini-grip benchmade fits perfect in my front right, protac 2l light on left front and cell phone goes hidden back right. I also carry aiwb with a t-rex sidecar, G19. When feeling frisky, I will put another mag back hidden left. I use a Snake Eater Tactical 1.5 EDC belt and also put my buckle on the side.(It is a lot more comfortable) My wallet is basically just for cards, that goes up front. Both are great pants, just depends on your needs, my needs say Defender Straight Pants, little cheaper too.
Appendix carry has some serious risks if you have a negligent discharge. Awesome Firestick step by step, you rock Fred, while I'm not a fan of appendix carry, I'm a big 2nd amendment fan, stay safe my friend.
Question, you mentioned you should have stuck with a pant size of 32. So are these true to size? I ask because unlike the 511 Ridgeline, I hear they actually wear small which is why most people get a pant size or two bigger, especially if you're concealing a firearm.

I don't see how carrying all that stuff in your pants could be comfortable. When i sit i have to take the phone out of my pocket cos it feels too bulky. A knife, wallet, keys and phone is all I carry and when the zombie apocalypse arrives I'll just wing it. :P
(1) You could have cleaned up your English usage a bit (2) decided ahead of time what you were going to say (3) no one needed to hear about what your ordered for a pant size - that was just wasting time (4) always learn to focus on the "what" the clothing does and "how" it actually will do it.

Leather is far from durable, especially in the washing machine. Bad choice for the pocket lining.
It is not animal based leather. It is a machine washable synthetic material which approximates the look and feel of the former.

Good review. I wonder how wide the belt loops are. I have problems sometimes with my Wilderness Tactical 1 3/4" instructor belt.
