600 dollars is actually quite cheap for a regular suit, and this shits bulletproof
$600 is cheap for a high end suit, but cheap suits start significantly lower than that. My first was about $200, and some of my friends have $100 (or less) suits.
more like a medium end, a high end suit is really up there in the thousands. But just a regular tailored suit will cost you between 400 and 800

That's why the actual simulations of what human body can survive, or to simulate human body in general, use special gel which is stuffed with simulated organs or bones, like you have seen (if you have watched) Mythbusters or similar shows. I knew one other youtube show, but forgot the channel name or the show in general where it was practiced as well for simulations of what would happen to human body. But yea, overall you are right, it will break your bones or give a huge ass pain, maybe knock you out unconscious, maybe that jacket would fly off because of that deformed kevlar which would push the jacket away from wearer, minimizing the number of broken bones/ribs.

ANd like McChicken said, that's not where heart is, it will most likely break your ribs and do something to your lung. If it was a shot at heart, then he would've been dead because there was no suit protecting middle of chest.
I would think that if it was a human body, and considering that jacket is left unbuttoned, then there is a chance with just some broken ribs or rib, because the kinetic energy from the bullet and would kick right back and set the jacket flying off of the chest with that bulge. It would initially release some portion of the energy at the body, damaging your body and kicking you off the foot (depends from the energy of the bullet), but at the same time, since it can't penetrate, the remaining energy will be directed back at the jacket and will push it back from the wearer, since the whole suit is not stiff and closed off like bulletproof vests.
It has parts that allows it to flap around, bend etc., and not having it buttoned helps it to distribute energy over the jacket rather than everything at your body.
At the end of the day we all just come here to see him shoot the 50bmg

Dude a .50 hollow point shooted with a big ass magnum can penetrate literally anything , this time it wont , remember that unlike the target our body is pretty much soft , the whole would be a little less inside because impact will absorb with the full area instead of one point , you can survive it and thats what it means to do.
