    Which saw would be better for around the property? The f380 w 24" baror f372? W the 28" bar?

      Hey Smokey. Sorry for the delayed response. We have been very busy round here and haven't been able to do anything with youtube for over a year unfortunately, even haven't contacted with neotec in quite some time. To answer your question 380 or 372, I like the ergonomics of the 380 better than the 372. The 380 is easier for me to handle and swing around, it can fit through brushy tree tops better when limbing out and is slightly lighter. The power is comparable between the 2 saws also. The 380 will rev much higher in stock for(all our saws are stock anyway). When cutting stumps the 380 being shorter height wise helps from the ground too. As for the bar length its hard to be 28" when rounding, you just walk and cut v/s kneeling and cutting with a 24". Cutting with a 28" just takes a smidge longer as your losing a touch of power. We use non ethanol fuel exclusively so time is precious when it comes to long running cuts, quicker the better. We have enough saws so that we can keep several at 24" and several at 28", we grab what we will need and save time that way. These things a so economical its hard not to have several if you are having to cut alot of wood/trees.
      I hope this helps and sorry for the delayed response, Ric

Didn't finish are great parts are great Services great price is great man they closed all the gaps, I don't know what else anyone would want Aaron. o machado e a motosserra (The Axe And The Chainsaw)
    entraram junto no mato pra mostrar a serventia
    a motosserra roncava machado velho tinia
    e naquele matagal foi só cavaco de pau pó de serra que subia
    e esse grande duelo deste jeito é que termina
    na briga das ferramentas o machado é que domina
    motosserra parou cedo ali no tronco da quina
    machado seguiu cortando mata grossa e mata fina
    motosserra impotente rebentou sua corrente acabou a gasolina
    que isto sirva de exemplo para toda humanidade
    e você que é tão jovem tem que saber a verdade
    respeite bem os mais velhos não brinque com sua idade
    uma pessoa idosa também tem utilidade
    é um diamante valioso se não tivesse o idoso não teria mocidade

    How is the quality compared to Holzfforma G line chainsaw's ?

    • @CornucopiaFarmstead
      @CornucopiaFarmstead  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In my opinion they far exceed the G series and from what some others have said they exceed the pro series from FT also. I can't speak for the pro series from FT as I haven't ran them. We have been running the 1st generation Neo-tec saws for a while and these are actually a much improved version one could say 3rd generation series from Neo-tec. Fit and finish along with quality of components is much better than anything I have seen with FT. But that is just my opinion. We made a vid of the f380 recently and it was ran nearly full throttle for an entire tank and didn't miss a lick. That was also the first time the particular saw had ever touched wood. I broke it down to the cases to check for damage and was pleasantly surprised it didn't have the first score on the piston or even cylinder. Pretty impressed with there equipment!
      I hope this helps, Ric.

    Those are nice saws. I always wonder how good are the neo tec ones. I got the 660 and 372pro from holzfforma. Good o’saws

    • @TheRoadhammer379
      @TheRoadhammer379 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Neotec is quickly gaining a reputation as being a much higher quality saw than Holzfforma and Farmertec. From what I am seeing on repeated reviews on neotec is high reliability, excellent fit and finish.

    • @CornucopiaFarmstead
      @CornucopiaFarmstead  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have to agree, they are much easier to work with on warranty issues and in my own personal experience they are more than willing to better the experience with the resolution to the original problem. Most folks don't know the 2 companies worked together at one time. Neo-tec was a parts supplier for FT, the partnership ended when FT wanted to cut corners from my understanding. Neo-tec did not want to lessen quality but wanted to improve. This is much the reason why the cost is more on a Neo-tec, they actually are higher quality in my opinion. Don't get me wrong the value is there in both, but if you have better for just a little more, I'm gonna spend a little more! Thanks for commenting 👍 and subscribing!

    Unless it tries to fire. You don’t need to push decomp every time. If it does. The decomp is failing. And that will burn the saw down

  • @jkubsch2004
    @jkubsch2004 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I just got a f660v there was a tag on it that sed big bore motors need to use a 35:1
    Fuel mix for brake in (5-6 tanks ) should I use that ? I’m not sure if a 660 is considered big bore.

    • @CornucopiaFarmstead
      @CornucopiaFarmstead  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes some do consider a 92cc a big bore, I consider it a big motor. As for 35/1 I agree with that.i actually run the 92cc or larger saws at 25/1 for at least 2 tanks. In my opinion if you heat cycle the engine for a minimum of 2 tanks of fuel you will have the longest life. Heat cycling prolongs the life of any engine. Heat cycling helps to ensure the different metals moving with each other expand slowly and can only benefit the user. Not Heat cycling can potentially cause the loss of temper or fast expansion of metals that expand at different rates causing damage. I hope this helps, thanks for commenting. Ric

    have you ran their top handle saw?

    • @CornucopiaFarmstead
      @CornucopiaFarmstead  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we actually purchased the top handle a little over a month ago. We have an echo cs355 top handle with a 14 inch bar. I purchased the Neo-tec top handle so that I can rebuild the 355 in the near future. I like the little neotec and it was an inexpensive alternative to losing the 355 outright. The neotec runs well but like in small 2 stroke was a bear to tune in the beginning. Once I had it tuned then back to business. The build quality is good and follows most other tophandles for in tree features. The only complaint I have is the 2 piece filter snaps apart very easy. Most filter like this typically are harder to come apart is all. I don't thunk this will be a problem since the filter cover keeps it locked in to place anyway. The 2 bar nuts are nice and is better than having 1 bar nut. Ergonomics are typical for most others too. It weighs just over 8 lbs with no fuel or oil, just over 9 with full fuel and oil. I have no complaints right now. It doesn't javelin the power of the cs355 but it also isn't an Echo and is only 25cc compared to the 35cc of the cs355. We made a vid using and comparing the 2 saws together, you can find it on the channel also.
      As for the 372 we are cutting firewood with it today, it will have a vid coming out in the next couple of weeks.

      Yes, I agree. We have had the previous versions which have served us fine with few issues (bar tensioner has been our only issues). The Ns892 and Ns872 are our primary felling/bucking saws and now using the Ns843 for ground trimming. We Purchased the 892 and the 843, Neo-tec sent us the 872 and 841 for review. They in my opinion are a better option than others bit also I think these new saws have stepped up there game with the higher end and quality parts. We will have some more in depth vids of each saw coming soon! Thanks for commenting 👍 and subscribing! Ric

      @@christophercollins2330 I couldn't agree more bud. I got in to these simply by having to get in to a 70+cc saw. I tried some FT stuff and they aren't bad but, they aren't these. Happy Independence Day my friend! Hope you are doing well my friend. Man the weather has been super sticky here, super dry and terribly unpredictable. Our poor gardens have suffered miserably. It is so dry the dear won't even eat what they normally do! I can't imagine how rough this is on the ecosystem but I can say insect like, birds,bees, larger animals even the frogs aren't as active as years past. This climate and lack of rain is taking a toll on everything. At work we have been starting out between 5 and 530 to have a little more productive time until the heat really sets in. It has been so so humid, dangerously so. For these saws they are definitely a step above and really narrow the gap if not equal on the performance front and maybe even longevity too, which will just tell with time. Performance has been gained with level up parts along with oem parts too. I have had the FT stuff, the early Neo-tec stuff and now these Farmmac/Neo-tec saws. Quite a difference in them all and in a good way. They look good but soon I'll see how they performance too. Probably gonna take some to work and handle a bunch of Cypress tree's! Email us your address and we have a care packe for ya, do need a shirt size for ya too. cornucopiafarmstead@gmail.com
      We will get something headed your way bud! Always great hearing from ya bud! Stay cool and hydrated!

I have used the 872 for quite some time now and have no issues with it in stock form, of which all of our equipment is stock by the way.
