    What is your favorite way to mask your Tinnitus?

    • @davidtravis1384

      Actually, Dr. Olson, my wife and I have been using an air cleaner for years. The noise it makes is the same as the Snooz device you have there. The cleaner blocks out my Tinnitus and it also cleans the air for my wife so that her allergies are alleviated so she can sleep comfortably at night.

      Dr. Cliff when ever trying to mask my tinnitus the level of my tinnitus just increases in volume above any sound I’m trying to mask it with. It is so frustrating.

      Hi Dr. Olson.. thanks for your youtube channel. What a blessing. I recently bought a Sound Oasis Bst-80-20t Tinnitus masking device. There are some masking sounds that almost take my (high pitched) tinnitus close to zero. What a relief! They also have a residual effect. Wow... Please do a review on this device. Thanks.

    The Snooz is hands down the best white noise device I have used. Mine was a gift from a friend. I have very loud pulsatile tinnitus from an extensive brain dural arteriovenous fistula. Was using a white noise app on my phone before the Snooz. Regarding the cost, you can’t put a price on a good nights sleep.

    Does the pitch stay the same when you turn it off? Do you have to readjust it each time?

    Can you compare this to the Marpac Dohm? It also has the inner fan. It does not have the app feature but I am not interested in the app.

    Does it also help mask/reduce/drown out the chatter noise caused by a large group of people gathered in a room *but* while you’re also in the same room so that you can actually hear each other?

    Hello, Doctor Cliff. My latest, I had Vertigo and now have the ringing in my left ear. Doctor Cliff, how do I carry my battery operated white noise machine during walking please? I'm trying to use the "William Shatner Way" of "curing" my tinnitus. By what I've read, he wore the noise machine, hanging by a string, around his neck. What is the best way to use the white noise machine in walking or travel please? Thank you and please keep the videos rolling!

    Dr cliff my tinnitus at night is so bad it hurts. It's like a air compressor is loosing 1000lbs of air. I can't hardly stand it some nights but its usually every night. John Minnesota

    @Doctor Cliff, AuD I'm really tempted to buy this, but it seems a couple of studies have shown white noise can cause issues with the brain in long term... What is your opinion on this subject? I've been suffering from tinnitus for almost two months due to mild hearing loss after attending a loud concert without hearing protection. I heard sound therapy could help retrain the brain to stop focussing on the sound, but I wouldn't want to cause more complications.

    @Doctor Cliff, AuD Does Lyric help with pulsatile tinnitus? I’ve been through MRI and had my ears checked by ENT and Audiology. No observable reason for it. I also have regular tinnitus and moderate to severe hearing loss. My RIC aids help the regular but not the pulsatile tinnitus. Maddening!

    • @DrCliffAuD
      @DrCliffAuD  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, unfortunately Lyric will not help for pulsatile tinnitus.

    @00:51 you mention the LYRIC hearing aid, as a night time tool for masking tinnitus. Is the lyric Bluetooth enabled? If not, how does it help? My tinnitus is a 24/7 nuisance, and I have the Resound Linx hearing aids, they help with my hearing loss, and they are Bluetooth enabled, but severely uncomfortable to even nap in. I love the idea of the Lyric, and that would help tremendously. My tinnitus is like crickets when it isn’t just a solid tone.

    • @DrCliffAuD
      @DrCliffAuD  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is not Bluetooth enabled. It is worn 24/7 deep inside the ear canal. Do you get suppression of tinnitus while wearing your LiNX?
